  1. I'm there ............ 2214 EST.....
  2. actually.......now that you mention it.......I did change my radiator this past weekend. Maybe something seeped in.
  3. Just wanted to share. Group hug for everyone. My point you ask........?????? I was watching a different Z car site over the past couple weeks, and I know how they can get sometimes. But, it still bugs me. I have to say thanks to the people here on Hybridz for keeping the Z car a pleasureable experience as opposed to the flamers (in every sense of the word) that just wait on the "other" sites that some guys think they have to belittle people to make themselves feel better. Over the last couple weeks I watched post, after post, after post, turn into a flame session. So, I give a BIG thumbs-up to the Mod's and general population here at Hybridz..............
  4. I think they just mean that it falls into a 160lbs shipping category because of the size. When I ordered my series II, it just came in a box, no padding or anything. Just a plain ol' box. Arrived just fine.
  5. Nice Job!! But....................................... Is anyone ever REALLY finished with these things???????
  6. SOLD????? Sweet, I was thinking of giving it away. So how much you gonna give me??
  7. I've got a gutted rust bucket you could have Located just north of Fayetteville.
  8. Is it me or is the back end sitting a little high? Either way, looks good.
  9. I think "Bumble Z" is already taken
  10. Awwwww come on guys, the wheel's aren't that bad. with that being said, you definately wouldn't see them on my car though. I do love those fenders though (read-I want them). Wonder how hard would be to reproduce something similiar.
  11. chicks dig my Z because it's shiny. If you go flat black a chick might just think your too lazy to put some wax on that thing. But definately ditch the "buzz". Do you really want people to think that you have a bee's nest in your muffler?
  12. Hmmmmmm ... I think I'll opt for the "I'll just be happy with a working clock" rather them do the thugh test
  13. So does that make the clock itself worth more. Could I sell it as a "self-repairing" clock????
  14. Just when I thought my dwindling interest in my Z because of a "no money for upgrades" stalemate had reached an all time low. The exhaust shop killed the front end which resulted in some cool looking body work that I had done for next to nothing out of pocket. Needless to say, after I saw the work finished, it totally rejuvenated my enthusiasm in the project. Which brings me to my point of this post. So I was in the garage replacing my center console for a slightly better one that was in it, I started thinking about where I wanted to go next with the car. When all of a sudden, a sound broke my concentration, tick .......... tick.............tick............tick.............tick............etc... So I sat there for a minute and wondered what this NEVER before heard noise in this car was. The engine wasn't running.....I have no stereo.....the dogs were in the house......I looked up and the clock that used to have a permanent 1200 setting was showing 3, and moving. I wnet ahead and reset it to the current time and it hasn't skipped a beat since. Anybody ever have their clock do this or is this the beginning of a demonically possessed Z??? Maybe the car herself felt the need to breathe new life into the clock because of the makeover I gave her...... Weird.......
  15. SO, it's settled .......... it's a hit. I will always be remembered in HybridZ history J/k ...... thanks a lot guys for all the feedback, I'm glad everybody liked the idea as much as I did.
  16. Oh, and by the way Jeff, I think I'm in love with your avatar!!
  17. Damn, I knew that was coming up soon.!!! Well, I was gonna hord the information and keep it all to myself, but then again, isn't this site made for information exchange? Kinda would defeat the purpose of HybridZ huh? Once you know what kind of scoop it is they're pretty easy to find. The only problem was finding one with the "right" lines. Alot of the aftermarket companies that carry an "SS" style scoop, either A) make it from rubber or plastic and B) don't quite capture the look like they should. I finally found this one here http://neugenmotorsports.com/ (Warning!!! Lots-o-rice there) . I gave it the once over and knew it was what I was looking for. It also provides a good base to bond to the hood. I should point out though, that the body shop warned me of it cracking or possibly showing shadows. But when I checked on the car and it was being sanded after the mounting process, I don't really think there is going to be an issue. They did a great job on mounting it, blending it in and painting it, other than leaning on the car and putting imprints in the soft paint from their pants. But, I can take care of that with a little cold water, some 600 grit and some wax in no time. Once it dries enough anyway.
  18. Updated pics here http://hybridz.org/nuke/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=33641 Originals were posted on page two of this thread.......I think page two anyway.
  19. In a perfect world I'd like to get a fiberglass mold done and go either full fiberglass or CF. But........that's in a "perfect" world huh
  20. I'm at work and bored.
  21. Hey Jason, The turn signals are just some LED style marker lights off the shelf from pep-boys. Pretty cheap, but they're not bright enough during the day. I'm gonna go with something a little bigger when I decide what I'm gonna do with the grill area. You got a PM too!!
  22. sooooooooooooooooooooo, am I the first to do this???????? I've never seen it before now.
  23. you left out the most important part....... so............ Was she Hot????? Seriously though, good deal. You sound as excited as I was the first time I drove a Hybrid Z....
