Well, out of the 11 emails I have gotten this is the only one that seemed to think he was getting the whole engine, trans etc for $200. All the others have wanted to know "will it fit my" toyota, mazda, MG, hummer, briggs and stratton etc.

The posting of attachments, pics etc inside posts have nothing to do with Member / Donating Member status. Posting rules are the same for ALL groups except for Guests and Banned Users. The only additional features that Donating Members have is an increased photo album size and highlighting of their ads in the classifieds section. The problem with posting attachments was do to a newly created usergroup that did not have it’s settings configured correctly and overwrote the default permissions for other groups. That was my bad and appears to be fixed now. Thanks for the heads up and helping me fix it. Cheers, Dan

I bought my DHLA's from the same guy, very nice person. Here is a little DOS based application that I used to calculate what chokes, jets etc I needed for my setup. This program is for 4 cyl engines so you need to recalculate engine size in cc's using. Size in cc's divided 6 then times that by 4 So for your 2.8 it would be. 2800 divided by 6 = 467 times 4 = 1867cc It worked out very well for me. jetting.zip

It has nothing to do with HybridZ. Our forum software does not store any paypal user info etc, you are redirected to the PayPal site to do the transaction just like if you were paying through eBay's site etc. The fact that Paypal's site has been up and down today pretty much explains it, they must have had some security issue.

I am still working on placement etc. The last thing I want is for the ads to be annoying to those who see them. Like I said, a little patience would be greatly appreciated.

On other sites that have no “donation” system, how do you think they are funded? Personally I have found out about other business that I did not even know exist by clicking some of these ads, but whatever floats your boat I guess. I’m not sure were you are going with that statement. I hope that you are not implying that I am somehow trying to hold the information on this site hostage in exchange for money. The information on this site has always been and will always be freely available, it’s just been ad enhanced a little. Then you should do that. I am looking into other options. I have already been PM’d by several donating members who would like to SEE the ads as they feel it adds information and content to the site. The other option I am working on to solve this problem is to make the ads collapsible for everyone, not just donating members. Unfortunately I am having a little problem with the code but I hope to have it worked out soon.
