  1. Caig deoxit would be the stuff to use for cleaning electrical contacts. I feel your pain on the hacked up wiring. Just get the factory diagram if you haven't and take your time, you'll get it fixed up soon enough!
  2. I've got the same size holes in the same spot on three of my cars, all from poor attempts at rustproofing back in the 80s. Just find some plastic plugs that fit snug in the holes and you'll be fine

  6. 1/2" NPT will work. You could probably find an adequate replacement at the hardware store
  7. I've had one for five years now and haven't had any problems either
  8. Check aceraceparts.com, I'm pretty sure that's where I got mine. One side has a machined recess and the other has a little step up to match. It's still a pain in the arse putting my exhaust back together but they are definitely easier to align than the standard v-bands I had before.

  13. I've got a complete setup I'm looking to sell. Intake, carb, air filter, throttle cable and fuel pump. Let me know if you're interested.
  14. Looking for a distributor and wiring pigtail from an 82 or 83 280zx turbo. Let me know what you've got. Thanks
  15. I ran stock fronts with late 280zx rears for a while. The performance really wasn't any different from the stock drums but maintenance was far easier. If I wouldn't have decided to start running HPDEs I would probably still be running this combo
  16. 25' would only do the doors or one door and the hatch. I think you would need somewhere between 35 and 40' to do both doors and the hatch

  18. 2005 Durango with the 5.7L hemi for me. Its has pulled my car all over the country since I picked it up a few years back. Not exactly the smallest vehicle that would get the job done but it tows the car well and can fit a surprising amount to tools/spare parts in the back.

  22. What kind of fuel rail? I've got a barbed billet rail I never even put on my car. PM me if you're interested Edit: I may be willing to part with my 36-1 trigger wheel, hub, and sensor bracket as well if the price is right
  23. I'm looking for a pair of late 280zx rear calipers, preferably in full working order. Don't need the hangers, just the main calipers themselves. Parts would need to be shipped to Nederland, TX 77627. Let me know what you've got. Thanks in advance, Adam
  24. Yep, cages are great on a track with the proper safety equipment but not so much on the street. I'll throw my opinion out there on the harnesses. Honestly if you think that most of your time in the car will be on the street I wouldn't run harnesses. I recently had to drive my "track" car, which has 6-point harnesses, to work for a couple of weeks and it was not fun. The whole latching and tightening multiple belts then not being able to move around and/or reach things part of harnesses sucks for the street. For my street car, I just had a local auto upholstery shop rebuild my factory belts with new webbing. They look great, work just like new, and are (IMO) more than adequate, safety wise, for weekend cruises and occasional trips to the office. BTW both of my cars are running stock rebuilt turbo F54/P90 long blocks with a stock turbo on the street motor and a T04B/T3 hybrid on the race motor and have (IMO) more than enough power for their intended applications. If you are not looking for big, expensive power but want a little more grunt you may want to look into a mildly modified l28et swap.
