  1. i like a lot of those rims, even if they dont make a by10 or so, im happy with the 7's, ill just throw 265's on em and be happy, zg it if they dont fit or clearance the fenderwell, either or.

  6. i just got a jcr catalog in the mail and it still has all that stuff, along with a price sheet if they dont have that stuff, they weak.
  7. the h4s are going cheap on zcar, forty bucks a pair, but if you can get them from autozone kragen and what not, you dont have to pay shipping, which may equal out. man i hate my headlight housings so much i just put in new housings and run 110w kc driving lights in the grill, bright narrow beams from these puppies so bright i have to clean bugs off of them weekly.

    you want to build this car to beat an integra? stick the 8 in that body and start hunting them maros, 5.0s, rx7's, and anything else in your way, if you want to build the turbo car thats your choice and it will be quick too, but you cant hate on an 8!
  9. i think it all depends on how you drive the car, ive found all my r200 breakage (mounts, u joints, mustache bar, center mount, driveshaft bolts) comes from hard launches, since then i do try to launch so hard, thats my personal experience.
  10. that system is still being advertised in the catalog, they should have it, if they dont, they suck.
  11. i have that book, and its a good one, it shows you how to dismantle the exterior and interior, and what tools to substitute for ones that the average hobbyst probably wont have. good stuff
  12. hey yall ok heres my issue right now, my water temp sender started leaking, found out that i have to replace it, so i get a unit from kragen for a 67 vette and it looks similar, but it has two prongs for electric wire style connectors, vs the one that broke on me that was a wire coming straight out of sender, whats the difference if it helps at all, i run an autometer water guage thats liquid filled?? im puzzled.
  13. thats what i was hollering right? tires wider than the rim for drag big sidewalls, way way way wider, fatman. and then for autocross skinnier than the rim so that you get that tight sidewall, good for cornering, great for cornering.

So , I guess what I am after is max performance in a staight line with road race looks.[/QB] i think that setup will exaggerate the wheelhop associated with drag racing with an irs, when i was running low profiles205/55/15, it would hop a whole lot more than the 235/60/15's i run now, now it will shoot out with very little hop, but i dont launch it that hard anymore, there is a reason drag racers run the big sidewalls, and there are reasons that autoxers like small sidewall, the small is good for cornering, and the big is good for making me the king of import street racing.
  17. i think most of the heat comes up through the hole in the trans tunnel and the firewall, id slap a sheet of dynamat there and on the wall at least to block off the holes, maybe the floors too???
  18. by the time you modify the tpi enough for good top end, you would have enough or more than enough to go with an accel unit. it would be nice on a nice stock 350 though, good driver.
  19. i think those are the kind that dont taper in like most flares, that give you a mudflaps look, not sure though.. they are heavier and require welding to install, but ive seen them, think they will hold some real nice rubber on em..
  20. i dont know exactly, but i know strictlyz and msa both have kits to go 3.1 stroker.

  22. its pretty easy to drop that pan, ever see a fox body mustang pan, oh boy, its double sumped around the k-member, my buddies got a leak and he keeps carb cleaning and rtv ing it!!!
  23. I gotta figure out acc. on the bright side, i just wired up the loudest horn ever!! 115 decibels or something like that??
