  5. what condition are they in? tires yes or no? what condition? i think the most i would pay is 300 that is if they look good, with new tires 400.00 crappy and no tires, 200.00 tops...
  6. if the price is right....
  7. the ka24 is more common out here isnt it? wouldnt that make it easier to turbo, blow, and turbo again???? parts at kragen, ka24 yes, sr20 no.
  8. youve already done: plugs? wires? you done coil, so you prob did the above already. check idle valve? timing? injectors? (the last resort)
  9. man you guyz have some evil 327's and plans for much more, yyall is nuts. i was actually going to stick a tpi manifold on top of mines, and supercharge it, but im not sure, still have some suspension and body work to do before all of that. what do you think the power would be like if i went performerRPM manifold 700 cfm holley msd 6al box vette 350hp cam headers(yes im running rams horns) 1.5 roller rockers on the 202 camel hump heads stock rods, flat top pistons, stock 10:1 cr 2.5 y pipe into 3inch single(only way i can go with my slammed ass car and the "H" subframe going in) ?????? and how much if i just plop the tried and true weiand BLOWGUN 6-71 on top with the motor as is???
  10. mild 350 is what you want, torque from way down low all the way to wherever you think you should take it.
  11. six pack carbs man, do it do it, and a road runner horn! meep meep!
  12. who knows, if i was jtr would i have beaten the ones that got away?
  13. im not mad at a scarab conversion at all. true, motor is not in the most ideal place, but im not mad. i may go jtr with the next motor, my hotboy forced induction motor(w/ my main man muncie), but the scarab is very simple, just about any chevy v8 motor mounts will work really easily.n ive driven the car really hard on the street, no track for me yet, really want to go, and im convinced that the scarab is not bad at all, jtr looks better and probably had some advantages to it, but ive been living on the other side of the fence for a long time, with no heating problems or handling, traction that is another thing altogether, i think jtr is better for traction (ive broken so many rear end parts i now ease it off the line out of paranoia), and parrallel parking, i hate small parking manuevers really much, the jtr makes a lot of sense handling wise too, a lot of sense, but ive been over 30k in my z car, granted i dont autocross or bracket race or anything, but for over a year and a half i drove this car daily, raced it almost daily, and burned rubber for sure daily,AND I LOVE IT!
  14. cap and rotor??? maybe its the timing
  15. for suspension bushings and what not, i think its pretty cheap, its the labor that kills me...all the hammering and "lovin" i had to do to get the stuff in, but i loved every moment. I treat my car as if it were a camaro, and replaced the balljoints first thing. thats just me though.
  16. what kind of power are you looking for, set up your ultimate goals for the car ahead and stick to the game plan tight. also depends on what you like of course.
  17. that steelman guy is a jerk, yeah i know im late. i think this is a hobby for all of us, and i dont think that any of us are getting paid for this, so we do this on our pace, and not the next mans. DO IT TO IT SCOTTIE(take your time though)!
  18. theres no replacement for displacement....none
  19. how about subframe and a roll bar for now?? roll bars arent that much, and they will tie into the subframes, you can always add on later....
  20. my scarab runs great, been running great, keeps running great, no matter what i do!!!
  21. msa sells one, look for the "dial a boost" its the same one they use in the wangan midnite movies....its like 100.00, which i think is ok...
  22. hey i swore that i saw someone running four lug mustang rims, do they have the same bolt pattern? how about offset and what not?? depending on the answers, i might buy my buddies 5.0 rims off him for the extra width on em....
  23. hey wanna buy some fiberglass sideskirts, they are from msa and im not going to install them, ill sell them for less than MSA, and ill pay shipping????
  24. ps. my personal favorites are the 14" six spoke mags from the zx.
