  2. Tanner where are you getting 15x12 wheels.. LoL.... Umm i would try out the JCR flairs FIRST!! if they look too weird... then buy some ZG's... but I dunno.. only way to sell is a photoshop or really trying them on.. if you buy em and dont like them.. i will buy them from you.
  3. the EVO has been proven to be quicker than the STi on tracks and shoot out's. to me.. the Subaru has the reliability, better looks, much NICER interior, better sounding engine and nicer wheels. Now seriously... you will never be head to head with an EVO on a track so it doesn't really matter... the Subaru is a HELL of alot quicker than other cars out there.. so don't sweat it. If you want your Subi to be faster than an EVO a few mods such as intake and exhuast will easily beat a stock EVO. I say .. GO SUBI!

  12. I can't believe you guys are patient enough to actually continue tuning with the N/A electronics.. I hated it soo much.. ahh! Plus for the price of a Rising Rate FPR you can buy MegaSquirt and never have to worry about any fuel or timing issues again! ever!! =) but yeh ... nienberg.11 the 225mm didnt work so hot for me... at all.. OEM clutch replacement from AutoZone and a newly resurfaced flywheel and it slipped bad.. so i gave up and bought a 240mm flywheel and a ACT clutch.. no slippn at all! yeppie!

  15. congrads on getting the N/A ECU to run right with the turbo.. my car ran filthy filthy rich and was terrbile to tune... Open up the dizzy, and silicone up the advnace slots, so the dizzy does not advance

  18. patzky im so serious.. lol My POH shows the Skyhawk 172N is demonstrated for 15 knot crosswinds.. anyway.. yeh the winds were at a solid 18kts but were gusting up to 30kts.. BUT i'm still pre-solo and my instructor said well you need crosswind practice.. so lets try it out.. and i'm here to take the controls if I have to.... when I touched down those 3 or 4 times i don't think the winds were actually hitting 30 knots.. but that was the last report from ATIS we got from the airport.. gusting to 30 knots.. but it was all good.. and the landings were perfecto!! However on my checkride this past friday.. that was another story.. that was BAD.. had really bad cross winds again.. and lots of thermals above the runway.. and the checkride instructor took over since he could tell I was fighting the wind, and he tried to put her down, and it was the roughest landing I have ever felt.. and this was a pilot with 3,000 hours who "slammed" that thing on the ground.. scary time
  19. amazing... wait.. I am running a stock T3.. and wait.. I am running an NPR intercooler.. oh and an ACT street disc and Stage I Pressure plate.. and wait.. I am running a 3.54 open rear end! Wow.. but the only differences is I am running a 3" open downpipe and MegaSquirt n Spark and 440cc injectors.. damnit I can do this!! I can get 12's... maybe... hehe Amazing.. I am in shock.. LoL.. have you done any weight reduction or anything? i think next time I go to the track, I am going to slip the clutch so I get a damn good launch.. =) PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE
  20. hey Jersey I have a question about your launch! It didn't hear any tire squeel, so it sounds like you didn't simply rev it up, and drop the clutch. Did you do a slip to build up the boost at the line? Or did you slip the clutch untill you got out of the "hole" and then fully engage the clutch?? Very interesting... i'm still amazed by this
  21. ok I had to find it on another website! That's awsome! haha I've landed in gusting 30knot crosswinds before in a little Cessna 172N but wow!! A few times with my intructor I have done a slip, where I slam down one rudder, and do the opposite aileron and we get to fly sideways... that's always fun.. thanks for sharing!
