  2. damn!! if only you could ship that beauty out! Because I would buy it
  3. Holy crap guys.. I have ALWAYS had a bad hissing from my engine.. for 5 months now.. LoL.. I have the P.Allnet fuel rail, and 440cc injectors... and I NEVER had o-rings from the injectors to the intake manifold... so it always HISSSSEED. even with the throttle 100% closed it idled at 1,200 RPM and it never held boost at a solid spot.. it would fade off.... when the boost came on it was slow, then pushed you back, then faded... NOW.. holy crap... I put on thick rubber o-rings and DAMN! no more hissing, RPM down to 650, the engine runs smoother, quieter and harder!! I never ever ever exagerrate anything.. look back at any of my posts... with the power my car has I was thinking around 210rwHP at 9psi... even with all my mods.. BUT now... holy crap... it's UNBELIEVABLE! the boost is instantaneous... it pulls soo much harder.. and it's at least a 20% gain.. I had NOO idea a vacuum leak would do this... NO idea
  4. Well as ya guys know I had my old video.. HERE is the NEW ONE!! I scrapped the old one.. and started all over again, don't have hardcore screamo music.. this time a softer band... I also have LESS track time, more of me goofing around, and some interesting editing... going from INSIDE the car, then OUTSIDE.. SOO without further adeu.... 280Z turbo compilation, final! watch the ending! LoL

  8. problem with those intercoolers, is they are SOO thick and the end tanks are tough to plumb... BumbleZ or WannaBREz is the only person to install the 944 intercooler by my knowledge... and it sticks way out of the front grill.. BUT i'm sure with 2 - 944 intercooler on top of another, and custom end-tanks that would be an UNBELIEVABLE intercooler.. holy crap
  9. Hey guys.. need your help Recently, after my car has been sitting for a few hours, when I try to start it it starts right up perfectly fine, then dies after seriously like 2 seconds. Then I start it back up and it's fine!! It's just weird since it has never done that before.. I am running MSnS_Extra021u3 code and the After Start Enrichment is set for 30 seconds... any thoughts?!
  10. yeh your differences in your mods won't make a difference.. so no sweat. as for the timing.. Bryan's maps run a bit rich, and the timing is set up very well.. you can try goofing around with it.. and see what ya can whip up. Best thing in my opinion is get it dyno tuned.. and try changing the timing and fuel maps and see how the charts look.. let me know what happens!! I would like to see a new map?
  11. i've turbocharged my N/A motor... works great.. feels great.. and is quick in my opinion.. I tried running the N/A ECU and dizzy.. and it was awfull.. even with 2 weeks of tuning it.. i would highly avoid it.. so i went megasquirt... LOVE IT any questions shoot me an e-mail
  12. Arizona Z car Springs (180 front 200 rear) Tokico 5-way adjustable struts MSA Front and Rear sway bars
  13. that's a Miata.. BUT.. the rear 1/4 window looks like a Porsche.. hmm.. I like it

  16. well I have a GNOSE going on soon.. so no need to worry about a fiberglass or 240z bumper
  17. I've always wondered what my Z would look like WITHOUT the big crash bumpers, and since I will be taking my car out to the track in a week or so, I can toss out some extra weight for a while... SOO.. what ya guys think?! Put the old one back on?! Or keep it the way it is?! This is just temporary by the way, but it's growing on me. BEFORE
  18. MegaSquirt Dyno video all turbo cars RIGHT CLICK AND SAVE AS PLEASE
  19. LoL.. thanks guys... I never expected soo many replies!! I think I will go out and order the Daiken clutch.. its nearly half the price of the ACT and it seems like the ACT clutch is way too stiff for a streetable car.. esepcially with my daily drives downtown to school in Denver traffic *shivers* LoL.. thanks Bastaad for the suggestion.. my only worry.. it's the quality of the clutch disc is crap.. and it will fly apart.. but if i buy a Daiken pressure plate, and ACT street clutch disc... i'll be ok =) but I'll try Daiken out
  20. Tony D mentioned that a turbo spinning in a vaccum has it's disadvantages
  21. http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=tp&Category_Code=FTG I used 18mm fittings for my Z31 watercooled center section.. but check out that ATPturbo.com site I posted and take a look at the fittings.. they have tons in stock
  22. check the PCV too.. make sure it's breathing properly... mine did the same thing.. but i had too much positive pressure inside the block.. and the oil was not draining.. which meant it came out of the turbo and into the exhuast and burned... on start up.. got worse as it warmed up... bad valve seals will smoke bad when sitting for a few hours.. and the oil drips onto the cylinders and burns on start up.. bad seals also means it smokes on deceleration... but so did my bad PCV setup.
  23. Bastaad you have a very good point... when I was just browsing around to look at the Daiken PP specs I could not seem to find a good source. Where did you order yours from?!
