  1. You know I think the biggest problem is my 021u code. I tried switching once to 029 and I don't know what happened but no matter what the settings my car ran like absolute crap. I couldn't figure it out. So if 021u works.. it works lol. Maybe I'll try to update again over the next few weeks. Then maybe the unit will work!!
  2. what is the white car buried under all that snow?!
  3. i went to a linkin park concert when I was younger and was taking pictures and taking video clips of some songs.. the security guards took my memory card!! I couldn't believe it! I dunno what it is.. but linkin park and metallica freak out when anyone uses their music. wtf
  4. Is there anything wrong with heat quencing?! Rather then allowing the part to gradually cool down.. why not dunk the part in a bath of oil. This would work harden the part dramatically. or should suspension parts avoid work hardening?!
  5. Thanks Z-gad!! i wonder why the website doesn't post it!?
  6. i might be slightly retarted.. or I havent been keeping up.. but i thought you had a 240z with a LSx motor?! Do you have a 2nd Z?
  7. Techno toy tuning sells a rear end setup?! Is this something they used to manufacture? I just took a peak at their website and wasn't able to find anything.
  8. maybe its an issue with the ducting... obviously the heater core can't be cooling down as long as your water temp gauge indicates proper temperature.... I think the ducting that opens and closes is malfunctioning.. so when you turn the heater on it might be mixing fresh cold outside air with the warm air that should be sealed from the heater core. give it a peak?! i dunno just tryin suggestions
  9. I'm sorry to hear about your problems.. I am using an innershield flux core wire on my lincoln welder... you have to switch the polarity on the power cables. I made to same mistake when I first bought my welder and didn't pay any attention. NO you didn't damage the welder. flip the connections around and you should be fine. Flux core wire is perfectly fine for any welding.. obviously thicker metals require gas but you can still get great penetration with flux core. I think its a complete waste of money to buy or rent a bottle and fill it up with gas to weld up an exhaust.
  10. Bo how did you mount the pinion assembly?! I haven't hoped under the car yet and fooled around with it quite yet.. but the new pinion assembly doesn't have a mount?! does the old mounting assembly come off the old electric one ?
  11. no worries Derek!! I hope you feel better!! You would be doing a huge huge favor for a lot of us guys who don't have the tools or experience to build parts like you can!! Thanks again and get some rest!!
  12. I called a local shop by me.. 3x5 sheet - 1/4" thick 11 ga. cut with a hydraulic press $120 just throwin out pricing for fyi
  13. So I've been designing plans to make a welding table and work bench and I've been contemplating on the materials I should use.. I can build the frame out of angle iron or square tubing... then I started thinking... Could I build a frame out of small exhaust tubing?! I mean round tubing is much stronger then square tubing... and ALOT cheaper if I go to my local muffler shop. For the table top I was thinking maybe 11g sheet metal... but is there anything wrong with this idea?! Oh.. POST pics of benches you've made!!!
  14. its such an old game though! xbox?! gotta love DIRT on xbox 360 man.. im telling you!!
  15. Forza 2 and DIRT (from colin mcrae) are excellent sim games!! Oh and Toca Race Driver 2 or 3!!
  16. What you posted said the following : The ads do not come out on sunday.. they come out on THANKSGIVING day! the day before the sales!! I've never seen black friday ads come out a week before the sales!
  17. Here is a better plan 1) Go to websites such as bfads.net (black friday ads . net) Employees will sneak out black friday ads and scan them and list the products for sale and door busters!! 2) BUY the product before black friday at full retail 3) Walk in with your receipt sometime after black friday or later during that day. Virtually every company has a price match guarantee... such as.. If the product goes in sale within 30 days of the purchase they will refund you the difference! 4) Get the difference back and avoid the stupid long lines and freezing cold. 5) Enjoy

  20. I've been having issues with my fairly new Tilton 3/4" clutch master cylinder.. When I press the pedal down I have firm pressure all the way down to the floor. I've noticed while I'm sitting at a stop light I am loosing pressure and after lets say 40 seconds the master cylinder will loose almost all pressure. I can let up on the pedal and you can hear brake fluid being sucked up into the cylinder and then I have full pressure again! I've tried bleeding the hell out of the setup without any changes. I've also noticed I can press the pedal to the floor and slowly slowly slowly let up on the pedal. About 3/4 on the way UP I can hear the same noise. The noise of brake fluid being sucked or squeezed in/out of the master cylinder. Any ideas?!
  21. Yep.. stock transmission, stock flywheel, stock FPR and stock fuel pump!! You can upgrade but its not necessary. In regards to the flywheel/clutch combo.. I'm very happy with my ACT setup, a lot of people on this board are running clutch masters and spec clutches. ebay intercoolers are fine. tons of people are running the turbo xs ebay units and they haven't had any complaints. i'm running an old isuzu npr intercooler, I would love to upgrade personally to a $90 ebay unit lol
  22. damnit. I just bought a house and now the bills are slamming up on me. I called and spoke to the guy.. its runs.. but barely drives. *sigh* i want i want.
