  1. I wonder what it would be like if you bought six of those and made a custom intake...
  2. here is a fusible link upgrade that also lists the different amperages. http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fusiblelinks/index.html
  3. There is a donate button on the blue bar near the top of the page, and the lowest you can donate is $20. You also need to pay with a credit card or paypal.
  4. Well urethane is stronger then both Fiberglass and ABS because urethane gives more and ABS can crack, but ABS might be cheaper and be easier to paint. Copied that from some forum, it was posted by someone who works in a body kit company. __________________
  5. I believe the air mixture screw is on the AFM but I'm not sure so search about that, also the reason you might be running richer on cylinders 5 & 6 could be clogged or dirty injectors. You could run some fuel injector cleaner or take off your fuel rail and look down the hose connected to the injector to look for small pieces of gunk or etc. Go over all your connections and make sure they are clean and in good shape. I am not sure which relay you are looking for but the EFI relay is under the dash above the computer on the left side. It is a small silver box with to square connectors in the side.
  6. I apologize I removed it. As soon as I can I will donate so I can post in the For sale forum.
  7. I'm guessing so don't quote me but I would think that the early Z brake master is more expensive because the early z is more rare then the later so they have to raise the price to compensate for the lack of people buying them since there are less early Z's. There may also be a physical difference but I don't know for sure I'm sure someone else can chime in on that.
  8. I put small speakers in the top of the rear shock towers. I don't have a finished picture though.
  9. picture quoting . All you have to do is take out the Img tag in the quote and you would be good.
  10. I say go talk to the crusher guys maybe you can work something out with them, I'm sure there has to be some reasonable crusher guys that might work something out with you.
  11. +1 on the kia forte the forte koup seems decent. maybe a kia soul? they get pretty decent gas mileage lots of cool features like interior underglow lighting satellite radio sport supspension etc. I saw one at the Denver Auto show and it was pretty cool. Whatever you get is up to you and I'm sure you will get what you deem right for you.
  12. But with paint you if you get a chip you can fix it pretty easy, if vinyl got a rip you would most likely have to do that entire panel. Also when paint gets dull you can just sand it down polish and wax it. Plus from what I have read vinyl only lasts a few years while paint could last as long as the car if you took care of it. I would just hate to do that then have rocks fly up on the vinyl and tear it.
  13. I think throughout the life of our cars some previous owner replaces the spindle pin or something because The left side came out easier then the one on the right side on my car. My pin mushroomed out too but since it gave enough it didn't mushroom to bad.
  14. Edit: the link is working now, Pretty awesome build.
  15. Man, All I had to do was use a sledge, a vise grip, and a bolt. I Just tapped the housing to loose it up then I pounded on the pin for a while, took a vise grip turned it side to side, kept hammering, then took a long bolt and hammered it all the way out. I didn't even have to use any lubricant and my car had sat for almost 11 years and came from Missouri.
  16. Repost and I think at least he did it well, whatever floats your boat.
  17. These may be doable on a newer car but it seems like on a S30 this might not be so easy, with all the curves and smaller panels such as the roof pillars and glass seals. Plus if vinyl can allow moisture through I can't imagine what it would do to the paint and if you start rusting from the inside of the panels to the vinyl coated outside I doubt that would be fun. Just a few thoughts, but it does seem like a nice cheap solution for some people but I think you would need near perfect body work and paint surface to work with.
  18. I would say about $100-$250 based on the price differences of the fiberglass air dams VS the Urethane air dams. One thing to think about though is that when it gets to be fairly warm outside urethane becomes fairly malleable and might create a problem, I doubt it will but it is something to think about. Still these would be awesome compared to the fiberglass and carbon fiber fender flares which are priced $200 for fiberglass and around $400 for carbon fiber. If enough people got interested in urethane fender flares I'm sure if there was a group buy depending on the number of buyers the prices could be relatively low. EDIT: I sent a email to Motorsportauto about production and a possible group buy for urethane fender flares.
  19. I believe but I'm not sure that the Suzuki swift is the Chevrolet Aveo here. We did get Suzuki swifts, the first and second generation I believe, but I'm not sure about the newer ones.
  20. Sticky caps lock button? Man that was hard to read, see that button up on the right that says search? Type some words in there click the search button and BAM instant learning process will begin.
  21. Ah but Ford focus Zx3's meets your requirements my dad bought one for my mom and now we all fight over who gets to drive it haha. He raced some kid in a Turbo Talon and Killed him. It gets 30 miles a gallon on 87, Mazda DOHC 2.0 making 130hp,5 speed with cruise, a sunroof, very very comfortable, nice stereo system, 6 Disk CD changer. Plus the parts are cheap and easy to find we bought ours with 70,000 miles for $3500 and its a 2003, Plus the SVT focus has 170HP . Just try it you will like it .
  22. I removed mine with a sledge to get it moving then put a vise grip on it turned it a bit back and forth then kept on wacking then got a long bolt and popped it out. I bought my Z in Missouri and it had been sitting for 9 years, so I don't know why some people have problems and some don't. I think it depends on the specific Z and if they were replaced during the life of the car. I would think the stock ones would be the hardest, if they were replace years ago it might be a different story.
