  1. Hmm those wheel's should grab the road just like the dragster in this vid haha. Watch at 4:11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6FnuR9w9H8
  2. because of this, Consumer demand, since all the SUVs are getting bigger rims lots of people decided it "looks cool" so they want that for their cars. Not a lot of people today like the old school smaller rims, for example all the ricers getting larger rims for their Honda's. Most people don't car about performance just looks and to car manufacturers that means money.
  3. haha this post has so much funny in so few words haha.
  4. You should rattle his cage a bit and send him a text or call him using *67 and tell him you know about his son, and point out what he looks like and other details from the pictures.
  5. It's right hand drive, its from Japan or somewhere else that isn't American, Its called a Fairlady Z and has the Fairlady Z badge instead of a 280z badge. Pretty basic stuff other wise they aren't that much different.
  6. Have you ever had your tank cleaned? It could be sucking up chunks of crap from the tank.
  7. Already been done or still being done. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/645045
  8. I think you might have posted the first one but the others, aren't on the thread haha. Having photographic memory helps with these sort of things.
  9. There are a few, I know there is a Mercedes diesel on youtube and a few LD28 Z's.
  10. Well I grew up with a 1967 Ford LTD 4 door with a 390. I just like fast older cars I love the style and curves, not a big fan of any 80's cars, but I like a few. I also like some newer cars heck even I think a Smart car might be sort of cool (made to be faster of course). I just like cars in general, the reason I bought a Z was because it was around when I was promised I could get a car and it was older I liked the style and I like being able to work on it myself gives me something to do.
  11. There is also Dry Ice blasting which doesn't leave any material or residue behind except for whatever your blasting off. Few places do it and they sell Dry Ice pellets also. Just make sure you do it in a well ventilated place because the CO2 from the dry ice can kill you if you breathe in to much.
  12. Also remember to unscrew the Speedo Cable, That one had me stumped for awhile I thought I had disconnected everything haha. But also there are smaller hidden wires on the left side that you have to dig around to find. On the right side it is more simple with the big connectors. Good luck.
  13. Your going to have to drill out, if possible, that last screw. That "cap closest to the window" is the Vent cover for the defroster. You have to get the Vent cover off to access the bolts that support the dash. After you get all that off there will be four bolts (two on each side) below the dash under the radio area, not hard to spot. there are some others, someone else can chime in on those. It also depends on what year you have and if its a 280z or 240z. The instructions I gave you are for a 280z the 240z might be different. Good luck!
  14. my car hasn't run for three years , but hopefully it will be on the road by summer.
  15. The wait is over, such a boring 12 hours of waitng but I survived.

  16. Wow that actually looks pretty good, not so sure about it on the rims but that looks less avocado then the Integra.
  17. I have a Clifford Intake and a Two barrel Holley Race Carb on my car, its no where close to being on the road yet (hopefully this summer). But I do have a header on the car and there is not a lot of clearance between the intake and the header and its pretty hard to access the lower studs and bolts. Maybe I just have bigger hands, but still its nice and the two barrel is nice for me and what I will be using my car for but maybe eventually I will get it Dynoed. I can't wait to see the results for the AZ z car intake though, should be interesting.
  18. Caps lock is cruise control for being "awesome" (insert true meaning based on your beliefs such as stupid, ignorant, etc.)
  19. Can't say I do haha, but this doesn't mean I don't respect them for doing what they think is artistic. They most likely put a lot of money and time into that project and I can respect that.
  20. Bleh I don't like it, its like grafting a banana onto an Orange. Two different body types of two different cars smashed together to make something different. Sort of like a bolt on spoiler "it must make it faster lololol", except if you put on a S30 front end you make it retro. Just my opinion though.
