  1. In the picture it looks like he is using a really wide rear view mirror, or its a Sun visor haha.
  2. ah why didn't I think of that, that sounds a lot faster and easier.
  3. Well I had trouble getting the drums off my car also and what I ending up doing was getting a wide drill bit and in the center part of the drum where it is steel and has four "nubs". What I did was drill indentations all around that part in the aluminum of the Drum make sure you do not drill all the way through or your it will weaken the stub axle face. After I drilled indentations all the way around I took a hammer and a crowbar and whacked at it until it broke off. When making the indentations make sure you get through the aluminum but don't drill to far through the steel you will be able to tell the difference when drilling when you get to the steel. when doing this it will bend the sheetmetal backing on the dust plate but its not that bad and depending on how well you do it the less damage you will cause.
  4. wow haha just amazing and who knew Chuck norris had an Indian brother?
  5. Check out threadbomb.us for tons of pictures relating to threads haha.
  6. Well if you stand atleast 50 fe..ah never mind it will still look bad. I can understand how someone could do this and think it looks good? Maybe I am OCD but its crooked and messy and I would go crazy if I had to live with it.
  7. This is a reason school days should be longer so my peers don't have so much time on there hands..
  8. You should check out myspace.com/0standrew0 or digital.1320records.com if you have ever heard of Steve Nalepa he is a guy that teaches music in Cali. I listen to hip hop mostly and I am 17 years old I listen to Eminem stuff like that but I also like Trip hop like Massive Attack and Tricky. I used to listen to Hardstyle Techno but not so much anymore. I also love a lot of music from the 60's/70's because I grew up listening to that with my dad.
  9. How are you going to change the rear spark plugs?
  10. Wow that looks really good I thought it was photoshopped it at first then I went back and read it again. Looks awesome.
  11. If you do happen to do this please make replacement door panel's for a 2+2 nobody else makes them so if you did you would be ahead of the competition. Another Idea could be is to make a part in the panel for a speaker so you bolt the speaker into the panel and attach the panel to the door and then no more cutting up the door to put speakers in.
  12. Hmm I know a guy here in castle rock who is into Z's and the last time I talked to him he owned a big storage place and offered to paint my Z, So If you just need a place to do it and a compressor he might be willing to help you out, I might have to give him a call.
  13. Those aren't worth anything except packaging them up and sending them to me for free haha just playing but nice find and Good luck with your project.
  14. This is one of my favorites as for grilles. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=132860&highlight=Billet+grill
  15. Douglas county Highschool has a Auto shop but I am not sure on what their whole policy is I will check it out more when that time comes around but I might be able to get in without being enrolled as a Student.
  16. Sort of like this? the guy is a member here his username is aziza z. I think its custom built off a MSA air dam. You could pm him for details. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f60/bemmerguy714/IMG_1668.jpg
  17. Why not buy a airdam that is made for 280z's eliminating the lower 240 turn signals and mounting some aftermarket lights behind the grill. I bought some fog lights for my Z and put them in the bottom of the air dam where the air ducts are. They aren't going to be used for turn signals and they are to low in my opinion but if you did the same thing but mounted them higher it would work. Edit: picture for reference. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj12/nathankotewa/downsize3.jpg
  18. I have it at TDC on the compression stroke right now and I am 80% sure from seeing those pictures that it has flat tops. I will see If I can go get some pictures. I might have to dig up the previous owners details and ask some questions too. Thanks for the quick reply though. EDIT: I went and checked it out, it was hard to tell on #1 cylinder but I looked in #3 and #4 and the pistons are dished it was a bit harder to tell from the first piston because it was TDC but since the others were further down I could see the side opposite from the spark plug hole. thanks for the help guys. Also I tried to take some pictures but none came out good.
  19. So this may be a stupid question but I thought I would go for it. If you look in through the spark plug hole in the head is it possible to tell if the pistons are dished or flat top? the reason I am asking this is because a previous owner put a N47 head on my N42 block and it looks like flat tops if I look through the spark plug hole. I would take the head off to be sure but I am not comfortable with my experience enough to take it off without messing up the timing plus I don't really have any reason to take it off otherwise.
  20. sorry to hear about this whole story, maybe you should make a list of what you need and post it up on here and maybe someone can help out I know if I had spare parts I would be willing to help you out.
  21. you should go with diamond racing they are cheap they can make them to your spec's plus in my opinion they look cool and can get them powder coated in whatever color you ask for.
  22. Looks like it says Suzuki Hayabusa shock with W/800# spring
