Well i used a Edelbrock Low profile triangle on my L28 it didn't fit either, So i just grinded down the edge where it meets the Carb until it fit under the hood.

There are bolts around the exhaust manifold if you feel around under there you will feel them they have washers on them and they overlap the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold so loosen those up enough that so that you can slide your intake manifold up and off.

I have been thinking about making fiberglass door panels for 2+2's. I don't really know what the market would be for these so i am wondering if anyone is interested in a product like this if its not already out there. The panels would be basic just the shape you would have to cut your own holes, this would make sure they line up on your door and you could leave out the rear door handle. You also would have to cover them in your own material etc. I am also thinking about making a spot for a speaker in the front so if you want to put in a speaker you can. I don't know if i will do this depends on the time and cost. I still have to figure out the cost for everything and maybe find some better panels to work off of. But you guys could put out an reasonable price of what you would be looking to pay for set of door panels. This probably won't happen for a while I don't have alot of money, But I will make sure to make sure I have some in stock so when i first start selling them I can get them to everyone in time. You could make an electrical switch to pop open the hood and hide it somewhere. I don't know if it's possible but that could be a cool feature.

These fit nice, I have them in my 75 280z they sit a bit high (I'm 6 foot) but its not too bad they don't slide back as far as i would like. The passenger side Seat bolts straight into the holes on the Seat bracket but its too long in the back so i got some pipe and cut it to Two Inches and bolted them down. The drivers side I did the same thing on the back, but in the front you have to drill a new hole on the left side because the tracks are a little wider apart then on the Passenger side. They both fit well and clear the doors and the Seat belts.

I am going to try and say this the best way i can haha. but put the fuel cell to the right side of the car and cut a whole so the tire could stand upright sort of like another wheel well and put it to the left side of the car and make it so it tucks under enough that it would be able to be taken out from the bottom and rig some cross bars or something to hold the tire up in the spare wheel well Sort of like this but under the car and inside the trunk space area? I don't know if it would be able to come out maybe put it in at a slant or something.

When i lived in Missouri we had those every where when i was younger me and some friends called them stink snakes because they tend to give off a smell if you pester them. Thats just there though don't know if you have had that problem but those were common.
