  1. well I meant my other posting mainly for the original poster but i found this near dallas for $35, Craigslist isn't that bad i have used it before. Most of the time i ask them to meet me at a walmart or some public place meet half way ya know? so if there screwing with ya they won't bother. but here is the link http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/vgm/1399408880.html
  2. Have you checked Craigslist? because there are a few listings from about 20 bucks to 80. Just thought I would point that out here are some links for ya. http://denver.craigslist.org/ele/1389368415.html http://denver.craigslist.org/vgm/1381158996.html I will also ask my brother if there might be a place in town with one, i think there used to be an old gaming system place.
  3. I have a Power antenna from a 280z they are pretty much the same i looked it up and its all there. If anyone else can fill in on if a power antenna from a 280z will work that would be nice. but PM me if your interested. Nathan
  4. My mom told me a few weeks ago about my great grandpa Hengemuehle. Apparently my Grandpa was one of the brothers that started Napa. The reason we aren't in the business is because he got in an argument on how they were running it and sold his share of the business. Thanks grandpa haha. But I doubt I my immediate family would have gotten any money or anything but it still would have been cool. Even still my grandpa was a pretty cool guy, he renewed his motorcycle license at 75, punched a horse that bite him and knocked it out haha, and cut the tip of his nose of with a chainsaw on accident.
  5. geez look at all the caution tape in the first picture on the building, They should borrow some for the V DUB haha.
  6. I think it would look good with the styling of the Z, I was going to go with it but so many cars are painted red i wanted to be a little different. but to each there own.
  7. In the first one I'm going to say all the way in the back, and the other one your on the goped or whatever you want to call it haha.
  8. you could consider something in gasification also. you could run a car, or maybe small scale, pretty much you can do whatever you want to do like an H2 powered miniature RC car with a V8 holding a Spud gun haha.
  9. well maybe he wants to use it to spice up the others lifes. I made an account made one tweet about how pathetic it was and then never touched it again. Maybe he just wants to be obnoxious haha.
  10. Its a fuse i have it on my car it should have a cover, I'm not really sure what its for but it would be on the right hand side of the car. I'm sure someone else will chime in on what its for but its a big fuse for the harness.
  11. a Potato cannon sounds cool haha, Not saying you should do this but I have heard from a friend that someone mounted one on there car. but good luck with whatever you choose.
  12. If you end up need a stock manifold, I have one in my garage if your interested just PM me sometime.
  13. Ha we just sold our dodge colt yesterday for 1400 it got about 40 mpg, but the engine in that one is not stock. But they are nice cars I drove ours home the first day I had my permit, just a nice little 4 speed.
  14. That isn't as bad as this Portland guy. Poor chevy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsar-0DabW0
  15. Solar/Electric Powered Z that can go more then 40+ miles per charge.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4W53GRmRQ9Y&feature=related "some awesome race cars revving their engines" Also while driving and you see a Ricer just blast this song haha.
  17. I agree, I have been a member for a while but I mostly have been reading threads. Just now have I just started making more posts and getting a little involved.
  18. Hmm 80 miles might be stretching it in a EV it all depends on what you do for batteries cheapo batteries would get you about 40-50 miles one way. Maybe EV might not be the way to go
  19. Hey we live and we learn, uh I don't really know anything about the roadsters i know they come a dime a dozen around here were atleast a few cheap ones and just mostly rolling chassis. Just like any other car just look for no rust good frame look up parts costs and stuff like that. An electric vehicle could be nice but depends on how much you drive and what your willing to spend on building the conversion. Oh and craigslist can be a great resource just make sure if your considering anything from there that you call and go look and see the shape of the item. I have had a lot of great deals on craigslist like I traded my Konig Rewinds for a Clifford intake with a Two barrel Race Carb and a 6-3-1 Header!
  20. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/1381814970.html http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/1385792770.html Those are two in your general area.
  21. Haha I know exactly how you feel, I have questioned that myself sometimes.
  22. its not a roadster but its Electric just thought i would show ya the link. http://www.evalbum.com/1436 The link has a lot of information like cost of conversion and etc. Thought it might be helpful. Good luck! and as for pricing for the Roadster just look around on craigslist here in denver i have seen them from $1500 to $2000 or more. Here is a link to the guys business he is based in Northridge CA He does EV conversions if your interested. http://www.operationz.biz/
  23. Well I got a hold of the MSA holley clifford intake and mine was a 75 and it was fuel injected. I don't know a lot about the 260zs but with mine the pump wouldn't work with the wiring harness anymore, because of the fuel injection. Anyways I don't really know what to say just run all the basics like fuel pressure, fuel pump, fuel lines, sorry if you have already done everything just suggesting maybe double check? i know that can't hurt. Hope i could help some.
  24. how about fuel pump, fuel pressure, did you adjust the carb?, just simple stuff.
  25. I didn't even have to trim it all the way down just enough don't know about the clearance with the V8 but I will go measure it tomorrow and see how tall it is after i trimmed it with about an inch and a half off the base.
