  1. So I'm not a big tire guy don't know alot about what all the terms mean i understand most of it though, but 17x9 with -13 offset all the way around would fit on the stock suspension? I would be putting ZG flares anyways but my question is would it clear totally stock suspension.
  2. They look a bit small on your wider ZY fenders. Just my Opinion though to each there own maybe it would look better if the were up closer to the original position?
  3. I used Card Stock its what i had at the moment its a little thicker so the original gauges don't show through it will probably fad but buy that time i will probably buy some autometers or something
  4. Hey sorry if this is in the wrong forum, But i was wondering what your guys favorite color is hopefully soon it will be time to paint my 2+2 and i was wondering what color you guys had or which ones you always liked. Just post a picture of the color on a Z or just the color and post the Paint code if you can. If there is already a thread similar to this maybe post a link? Thanks alot guys
  5. Usually not a big fan of the ZX's but those are awesome exactly where in colorado looks like around aurora or something would love to see it in person haha. Nice cars definitely.
  6. I got these gauges from a member here (thanks mike) but these are for the 280z and are for all the gauges, just thought i would post them up for anybody else that has been looking for them. Oh and they are in Mph and has the Volt gauge, all you need to do is download and print them they will print out the right size all you have to do is cut them. 280zgauges.zip
  7. Here is a quick sketch i did when i was fourteen i think can't remember but i have had it for quite a while I'm not really too happy with how the side drawing turned out but its a general idea this sketch is what i thought a newer z might look like.
  8. This is the pic of the vent, The picture of the Speaker isn't the kind of speaker i used but it was a sony and almost the same.
  9. So yesterday having not alot of money to work with and nothing to do, I have been thinking about redoing the interior and already have done the seats and carpet I decided to start on the dash. I always thought about putting tweeters in the holes where the airvents are on the side but i didn't have any money to spend on tweeters. So i pulled out the dash and cleaned it up and taped up some of the wiring and took the gauges out to get some white gauges that i can print out. Leaving the gauges i started on the cracks i sanded them up a bit and put some black silicone in the cracks and let it dry. I then painted the whole dash flat black and waited for it to dry then put some laquer finish on it to make it shine a bit. I then took out the old airvents and took them apart wasn't too hard just three screws and popped out the vent, After that i cleaned them up a bit and i found some old speaker boxes for a home stereo and cut them up and stole the tweeters haha so i took out the bigger speakers for later use then trimmed up the cover for the tweeters i had to cut it out of the plastic because it was molded but i ground it down a bit and made it smooth. I put it in the airvent and it fit pretty good nice and snug so i put some wires in so the would go through the back and put them back in. Im pretty happy the way they turned out they have sort of the same shape as the old vents but now they are speakers
  10. thanks drax i guess i didn't search hard enough thanks for the info though i shall start my searching
  11. Thanks for all the help guys but Metric isn't going to help me any i need mph haha I'm thinking you could put the gauge faces onto a scanner and then do whatever you want but i don't have a cord for my scanner yet and i was wondering if anyone else did this and had the files for Mph and the fuel gauge and the other gauges
  12. I looked around on the site because i remember seeing a site to download them before, and i didn't have to chance to then. I found the site again and its no longer there. So i was wondering does anyone have the download anymore? or know of a site that still offers them.
  13. The guy said it was from a Ford Focus and i heard something about a Dark Shadow Grey if that helps any to narrow the search for ya.
  14. well clearly the Z is in the garage..major problem.
  15. If you watch closely you can see her hair turning more blonde with each passing second (no offense to blonde people)
  16. I was wondering what a Newer mustang's Tail lights would look like on a Z, sorta like this, wondering if someone could photoshop them on a Z maybe??
  17. Dipping the whole car in that stuff wouldn't be the greatest idea, because wouldn't the hydrogen brittle the medal? thats what i have heard atleast, so i don't think you really want to put the whole car in.
  18. I think I'm going to buy those rims..someday haha, but those look amazing on there great choice!
  19. this is the most recent pic. This is an older pic when i had all the interior in. Here are the Old rims i still have them around i don't use them though, if you want them send me a pm and make an offer. I have more pics, i will put them up later its being weird and not working right but i'll take more soon!
  20. Here is a site if you want a mounting kit for the sr20, I'm not sure if it will work on a ZX but if you called them up and measured some stuff on yours, they can tell you the measurements on the kit and see if it would work. http://www.mckinneymotorsports.com/prod_240+260+280Z+parts
  21. well im 15 and i bought mine a year ago and i have spent about $2000 on it already most of it my own money (still doesn't run =( but getting there) but i always have the memory of when it was running and the first time i drove it out on the country roads. my sweetest memory haha but really it depends on how much you really want your car to be yours if your willing to take a long time on it for it to be nice go for it, because it will definatly be worth it in the long run
