I don't have the turbo engine in yet (but that will be less noisey because of the turbo anyway, right?) but my stock engine has the 2.25" exhaust to a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. It wasn't too expensive and it is REALLY quiet. That is perfect for me, because I don't want to draw attention to myself when I am getting on it. (Call me crazy.)

What is "fair" ? Where exactly does it say you have the right to force someone else to give up their intellectual property? The bill is not on the site that is linked above, but it says it is to "make the information and tools available at a 'reasonable cost.' So the problem is not that they aren't available, but that people feel like they do not only have the "right" to someone else's property, but also the "right" to tell them how much they can sell it for. Would you be in business very long if your customers went to congress and said "29$ to have my car unlocked is just unreasonable. I can't afford that. Force this guy to charge a 'reasonable' price," and as a result congress passes a law restricting how much you can sell YOUR services at. There are two books you should take a look at - one is Atlas Shrugged and the other is The Road To Serfdom. They describe the rational end to this type of thinking. It is death.

Guys, I am not arguing that point. My question is what gives anyone the right to FORCE them to make the specialized tools and shop information available? It is their product, their information, their tools. It seems like it would be to their advantage to do so in this case but hey - do they have a right to their property or not? If they do, no one has a right to make them give it away at gunpoint. That is simply wrong. So again, it is a simple question - do you have the right to your intellectual and physical property in this country any more or not?

Provide tools? Look, I'm all for the manufacturer providing information, but not with a gun to their heads. It is their product - why can't they sell it under their terms?

I would lose an arm the first time I tried to get comfortable. Geez. Also, at the last Hybridz meet there were people who had a lot more than 450bhp in cars that weighed less than 2750.

I don't know if this is related to your problem, but if your fuel pressure is reading 40psi, your FPR is probably stuck open. Stock fuel pressure is supposed to read 36 with the pump on, engine off, and 29 idling. (I'm surprised no one mentioned this when you said it was so high. Am I missing something guys?) When I had this problem, it made my car run too rich, which resulted in poor performance and hesitation. Edit: This is for NA. Is turbo pressure normally higher? The bosch book I have doesn't differentiate.

What makes you think it was a 400 shot?

There's nothing practical about blowing lots of money on a wedding. I would spend it all on parts before you really have a conversation about it. Then it's safe.

Hey guys, I could have sworn I saw someone mention these seats in one of the forums, but a search turned up nothing. Just wondering if anyone else had installed them - I will be attempting it in a 77 this weekend. Any advice would be welcome. -Forrest

If you have to get a new car and get rid of the s130 - at least get a z33!

The caster is out .5 degrees...the car noticably pulls to the right. I may try machining a spare rod and using shims. I wouldn't mind paying for an adjustable one, though, if it wasn't unreasonably expensive.

Hey guys, I need to adjust my front caster, and the guys at the frame shop said that the easiest thing to do is get some adjustable tension compression rods. I couldn't find any discussion about adjustable caster in any of the archives, period. Does anyone know if there is anything out there? Thanks, -Forrest
