  1. No he says hes still waiting on piston rings because he got the wrong ones in a previous video... this one is out of #2...
  2. I think theres a guy on here that was able to fit a 10.5" wide tire on stock width fenders/coilovers. Doing the math that would mean these fenders would accept 12" wide tires...
  3. Zg's are flares. Subtle z are FENDERS... they completely replace the front fenders with a fender that is 1.5" wider than stock on each side. Zg's flares add 1.5" to each side as well. Knowing this unless you went with the "BAMF ZG" flares that are wider jdm ones... it would probably be better just to use subtle z fenders. Wouldnt have to cover any screw holes or mold into the stock fender as it has already been done and is the same width. A 3rd piece was needed additional to the front fenders that went by the front wheels that flares the farthest ends of the airdam out to meet the widened subtle z fenders. As far as the process, You can see photos of the installation of the front kit on my cardomain in its rougher phases. Am I happy with it? **** yeah! I never liked the "bolt on" look of zg flares and perferred the smoother aero look. Also those pictures of the car on my cardomain are at stock height. I have since lowered the car and it looks a whole lot better and acually looks alittle wider. The car is currently back in the body shop having all the imperfections taken out of the paint/body work and i am redoing the rear fenders to match the front with subtle z rears. As far as extremely wide fenders... is this a street car or race car? Im not sure if I would go that wide/aggressive on a street/daily driven car. I think the subtle z is a good median. Its noticably wider than stock but not excessivly wide... I just like how from the back looking toward the front it doesnt look that wide but if you look in front of the car directly at the airdam it looks noticably wider. I also went with msa type 3 side skirts to "edge off" the sides like the front is... I have always found most rear skirts to be to excessive (ricerish looking IMO) so i never installed one. This is all IMO of course but I tend to be very picky... Heres a good picture displaying the width...
  4. Lexington isnt quite that cold... But everyone gets excited when it gets above freezing... Teens and below in my opinion is a new breed of cold... You'll be uncomfortable with alot of jackets/sweaters on because it will be somewhat difficult to move and if your comfortable as far as being able to move freely with only 1 sweatshirt/jacket you are uncomfortable because its too cold outside.
  5. Or you could do what I did... I have subtle z fenders molded into a msa type 3 airdam. The subtle z fenders carry the same width as zg flares. Checkout my cardomain... www.cardomain.com/ride/3218401
  6. Lol @ all the people from az and cali acting like 30's and 40's is cold... Here we are lucky to get above freezing DURING the day. But it mostly stays in the teens and twenties...
  7. I have what you want! Already pulled apart ring and pinion 3.70 perfect shape out of my r200 LSD. I swapped the ring and pinion out for a 3.36 gear set. I still have the 3.7 r/p and all bolts... Hows 50+shipping? *Edit* If your wondering it DOES have the 12mm bolts...
  8. I have one converted to LSD in my orange car but I dont want to part with it... I have a complete 3.54 r200 that i will sell though if your interested...
  9. Fast And furious 4 that came out in 2009 had aziza's 280z in it and supposidly an orange 280z that i never saw. The new one coming out this year... Fast Five... nullbound has said will also include a s30.
  10. Well I have to agree with them... The name datsun has a very poor reputation. Usually when the name datsun is mentioned images of rusty pos' that run like **** come to mind. Ill just say if I had a 370z, it wouldnt have decals/stickers/stickon carbon fiber on it. It would have a twin turbo kit and a fresh coat of wax though...
  11. Yesss the legacy continues... Now when it comes out we will have to see if we can spot the s30. In fast and furious I only found aziza's... i never found the orange one. Now they need to stick a heavily modded s30 as one of the main cars...
  12. Unless I had a faulty clutch, I can assure you it wont hold anything above 200 wheel... I hardly even drove the car before the dyno run.
  13. B/S! My stock 280zx turbo clutch slipped at 200 whp on the dyno. If I had to do over again I would just buy a performance clutch to begin with. I went with the SPEC Stage 3+ a street clutch with reasonable clamping force, quiet, and supposidly holds 500whp.
  14. Whats confusing is in the beginning of the latest one Dom tells han he needs to "leave town". Then han says "I heard theres some crazy **** going on in tokyo". So what I say is they better have a good reason why han didnt decide to go to tokyo.... yet.
  15. Didnt mean to offend you. I was just commenting how i hope it will work out even though nothing has happend yet.
  16. Im replacing my existing rails... This was just something i thought of doing "while im at it". My goal with the car is to eventually have 500 whp. I also have launch control installed.(builds boost at a dead stop)
  17. Whats the difference? Do the 240z rails provide more support?
  18. Hello, I am looking into purchasing some bad dog frame rails but i am unsure which ones would fit my car. I have an early 260z. http://www.baddogparts.com/ They have 240z frame rails and 280z frame rails... which one would be right for my car?
  19. Hopefully. So far the group buy has been just all talk...
  20. Got bored and started searching google and stumbled accross this... http://sciontist.com/ProductDetail.aspx?id=100012103 I'm supprised no one has said anything about this! Hmmm. Is the flange for a t3 or t4?
