The dirt cheap purple gravity feed guns at harbor freights will do the trick. I use them as primer guns but have sprayed a hood and several door jams with it. It laid out single stage paint great! And if you run it at about 25 Psi , your compressor will be fine for a small job like that.

I appreciate the post but I am looking for body bolts... hood, fenders, headlight buckets,hatch and so on...

I know this is a shot in the dark but my car doesn't have any body bolts. It came with all panels just set on. Does anyone have a list of bolt sizes for an s30?

Friend of mine has a milling machine and I get free sheet metal. Was looking around for a shock cap bearing that would work if I make camber plates. I noticed all of them are listed as pillowball bearings. I'm not that familiar with camper kits. Is a pillowball necessary or will something like this work http://m.summitracing.com/parts/IDT-MSD52130 ? I don't see why I would need the full range of motion out of a pillowball top.

Trying to shave the rear of my 280. I bought a 240 replacement panel. Its way to long and doesn't match the curves of the corner rear panels. Anyone have major trimming done to there roll pans?

I am shaving/repairing the rear of my 280z by welding in a 240z rear panel. After measurements were taken, I realized that the last Guy welded everything in the wrong place. What I need is a measurement from under the car, from something in a fixed position (back of diff cover...) to the bottem of the rear roll pan. So I will know how far the bottem of the panel curves in. Also, a side shot of the car. The rear section that curves from the back of the rear fender lip to the roll pan. It slants up to the bottem of the roll pan. I need a measurement from the ground to the bottem of the lowest part. And another measurement from the ground to the bottem of the roll pan. I know this is hard without pictures but I'm sure some of you guys understand what I'm saying.

I have read bad reviews on blackdragon kits and all of them are complaints on the doors not fitting right. Is this a serious issue or just a really snug fit? Any other gaskets have issues? Was thinking of getting a kit and mean door seals.

I started shaving my engine bay but changed my plans and went flatblack. I would like a heat shield for the firewall but the ones I've seen are pushing 300.00. Anyone know of alternative methods that still look good?
