  1. We have both stock RB30 and built short blocks in stock all the time in Orlando, Florida. Unfortunately, won't be as cheap as overseas sources. email me, ricky@rawbrokerage.com
  2. I feel your pain. It's unfortunate that those details are overlooked in some of the product manufacturing.
  3. We've had customers complain about many of the manifolds on the market for the RB's not being able to fit the S30 chassis due to the vastly different engine bay real estate... Here is the turbo placement we went with when designing one for a customer of ours (pictured is our S30 jig car): The placement is very different then our other manifolds and can only expect the other manifolds made for the skyline and 240sx run into the same issues. However, the smaller turbo setups (usually found on the RB20's) fit on the straight forward manifolds and minimal clearance, but works. Pictured is a Precision Billet 6766. Hope you find success with your setup. Can't really speak for the issues you ran into but I've seen similar issues with all kind of setups come into the shop.
  4. We've tackled AWD Z's but it's not a bolt on affair. It would have to be carefully thought out and built on a jig to be completely correct. We have a partner shop that we work with to do all our suspension setups and its no small feat to get the drivetrain to line up and working. The motor ends up being pushed out further towards the nose of the car then the RWD applications so nothing you find that is offered pre-made will work. The floor pans will also be modified and the transmission tunnel. The rear end will have to be custom adapted along with axles and driveshaft. The electonrics, hicas, attesa... etc will be another area of customization. Good luck with the task unless you plan to send the car out to a shop... even then the price tag is pretty $$$$$.
  5. That's a really good deal actually.
  6. Engine bay looks great, coming along nicely.
  7. We have tons of the RB A/C stuff if needing any of those components.
  8. We have the S30 McKinney mounts in stock... though there are a few versions depending on what year your Z is. As you identified the R33 cross member is a no go for the S30 chassis. Let me know what you need and I'll set it up.
  9. ouch, hopefully it'll be an easy fix. If not, call me... I might have a solution
  10. email me, ricky@rawbrokerage.com
  11. Between the two series the differences are just in the electronics and both are as accessible as the other. If getting down to the nitty gritty, the S1 does share the same MAF as the RB20's so they're more available but once you start modifying the engine that MAF is tossed for either a N62 or better. Coils are available for either. Igniter retro fits are also available for the S1 if they dies out. And obviously the S2 doesn't have one so no worries there. Beyond that the S2's are 'newer' motors but speaking of motors of that era it's all going to be the same thing yet 1-2 years difference. Hope that helps.
  12. dang, glad to see that it's still progressing. Can't wait for pics!
  13. the ford MAF isn't a direct replacement. Just like the N62 labled Z32 MAF you must tune for the difference.
