mine kinda fell into my lap. i was 18, walking home from baseball practice, and i saw a sky-blue 78 280 with an msa aero kit and a for sale sign for 1500. as luck would have it, i had just signed papers a few days before for a personal loan for 2 grand, and the rest as they say is history. eventually the engine 'blew in that one (it endured some damn tough times) but it was my first car and i'll never forget it. only wish i had found the net at that point, that car probably woulda had a 350 seven years ago! i ended up selling it for parts.

i have a dilemma. i'm moving next week and i can't figure out the easiest way to get my couch out of my apartment. and, no, the door is not an option... when i bought it i had to bring it in off the top of the delivery truck thruogh my balcony doors. sounds simple.... do it again.... but wait, no box truck!! so.... anyone have any advice on how to get a leather couch to the ground off a 2nd floor balcony? oh yeah.... i would like the couch to survive the trip down!

hey guys..... i just got back pretty early this morning. seems that red lobster's idea of a week well spent in florida is the polar opposite of mine. my shortest day was 8am to 7:30 pm and 90 percent of that was spent in the classroom. now i remember what possessed me to quit college..... anyway, after days like those there's no place like the hotel bar..... no place like the hot.... sorry, my body's telling me i should be drinking a few right now. so that's what happened. sorry i missed you guys.... but next time i come your way it WILL NOT be a business trip!

Well, it seems my company feels that a week of training in florida in the middle of winter is a necessary part of a manager's career. so... i fly down tomorrow and i'm there until next friday. anybody in the orlando area have an evening free to meet up? only problems being.... i won't have a rental car or a computer, so here's to hoping i'll hear from you guys before i leave. it'd be cool to get to meet some hybriders while i'm down there!.....bob
