  1. bro, the light of god himself wouldn't make mine look that good... wow, maybe you really are modest!!!!
  2. HELL YEAH mike!!! hope you're enjoying your time with the family... my best wishes to your grandmother, i can nearly relate as my mother is trying to get her strength back after being diagnosed with emphysema, and isn't getting around much today... just value the time you can spend with her, i'm doing everything to do the same. as for that second 280.... you're just crazy enough to be the first to put in a viper v10.....
  3. aux... you're so much farther along than i am... and i think just about anybody who knows enough to care would give anything to be able to park a car that looks half as good as yours in their driveway. i someday aspire to have that much of a headturner!!!!
  4. well, i'm putiing in v8 but i still own 2 l6's so... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. i try not to tell anybody.... nah, the kitchen guys at work are getting to me!!! been kind so far... 27-inch tv and $400 from daddy-in-law which would ordinarily be project money but due to circumstances is going toward repairs on my two other cars.... oh, and.... joyeux noel a toutes les canadiens ici!!!
  6. right on, joey... kind of like some double-d's stuffed in a training bra!

    People...

why don't people have any consideration for their fellow man's stuff? this is why i always try to park next to cars that are nicer than mine. i mean, it's not a guarantee but at least it raises the level of care the guy next to you might exercise.
  8. y feliz navidad a todos mi amigos aqui!!! (the restaurant biz is going to kill me!!)
  9. yeah aux, the conceit is running away with you. i'm here to help... give me your car while there's still time.... 8)
  10. enjoy the fruits of those 5 years... you've earned it!!!
  11. oh i agree it's gorgeous... it's just that the z looks like an e-type after six months with a personal trainer! 8) but yeah, that paint job rocks. almost doesn't make the car look so rotund. (note to self... wear alot of silver after onset of gut. )
  12. maybe so but i agree, so what does that say about me?? when datsun melded that design into the z, they left out the one and only thing i don't like about those cars... the bloatedness.
  13. that is one damn sweet looking z!!
  14. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!! dan....if it's the jack and coke causing you to bring us these visual delights, CAN I BUY YOU A DRINK???? you and silicone boy are my unofficial "members of the year"!!!
  15. good point... VERY good point.... even though thanks to an as yet undiagnosed clutch issue i was pushing my daily driver 9000cse TODAY!!!
  16. looks nice out there david... know any good property for sale? now i'm inspired. "northeast z's....revenge of the potholes." and, yes, mine will have boobs. (they might be my boobs, but deal with it.)
  17. all that smoke... ahhh, my teenage years, looks like my bedroom. nice job!! keep it nice and understated.... i love the look of z32's and nobody will know what you've got!!
  18. i'm with mike on the fact that my car won't see cold weather much at all. take a virgiia winter x 50.... and welcome to the hudson valley! thus... no need for it, and in my case it's not so much for weight savings as it is because i don't want to muck up that pristine pdk fabrications fiberglass dash i'm installing by hacking it up to load in vents. it's good to own cars other than your project!!!!
  19. ron... wheels turning? tell you the truth, i like the look of your cage better. but that is one serious piece of equipment!
  20. those cars will serve two completely different purposes. don't woory about redundancy... i don't think it'll be a problem. the only thing i see as difficult is deciding which car to drive in the morning! : and i'm glad to see i won't be the only one on the east coast without heat in a partially street-driven z!!! besides, the vette's a phenomenal car, but the value of a sick car you built yourself is an immeasurable commodity.
  21. wait, wasn't turbomeister's 383 twin-turbo in that same neighborhood as far as power? i don't care if he went out and spent big on the polk audio custom ecu (good for 300hp out the box, i hear tell) ther's no way he's pushing that out of that engine. unless, of course, he applied the little-known underground performance booster.... 100-shot nos straight to the taillights!!! (think rocket booster. you'll run 9's, i swear.)
  22. she is gone but not forgotten. as for your method nic, you're actually adding oil, and as long as you don't just sit there and crank until tomorrow that shouldn't wreck anything. i ususlly just run the engine for about five minutes after parking from a decent ride and just figured getting everything that warm the drainage would take care of itself.
  23. dude, it could be a piece of linguine....hmmm. sudden urge for pasta...
  24. first off.. a warm welcome to the board!!! as for your car.... i can't say i've seen too many z32's gone that way.. so right off the bat you've earned some points for thinking outside the box! as for keeping the stock look, the only problem you might encounter regards space in the bay for the turbo(s), but i'm not sure if you'd clear the stock hood. there are a million different styled aftermarket hoods out there though, and some have to offer more clearance. since i'm the first to welcome you here... when it's done i want a ride!!
