  1. By Bonnet you mean hood, I actually have a brand new OEM one that I'm not using (because I plan on upgrading to a Carbon Fiber Hood!). Also, if you can provide me with the part numbers of things you are looking for, I can check certain dealer stock to see if it's available. I have been able to find things like the door rails (that say Datsun on them) brand new (I have like 3 sets). So it's a matter of sending me part numbers and I can check for you.
  2. It's alright, I ordered the Z32 sensor and it should be coming soon!
  3. Yeah, I was reading the instructions that came with the sump and it said to weld a few small holes (about 1"ish on the bottom of the tank). I did not get the sump yet by the way. But the extra welding of the plate would add to the "extra safety" or one of those "just in case" things. It really only has to be tack welded in a couple of spots, no biggie really. The area of that sump is pretty large and looks like it could use it.
  4. Okay, sorry about the drawings but I'm no Auto-Cad person... Basically weld in a curved sheet like so (represented in black), with notches on the bottom (the black half moon looking things), so the fuel goes in, and less fuel goes out. I don't know if the drawing makes sense. The sheet that you weld in would look like this [imagine equally sized and spaced holes] (possibly with more holes on top)
  5. I've got a good idea to baffle this guy now that I think of it... lemme do some photoshopping!
  6. I still like the idea of having a sump like this... I won't go under a 1/4 tank anyway so hopefully no fuel starvation under hard cornering.
  7. If it's plated with platinum, haha. Honestly I think a VIN number/Serial Number check is the way. I don't know the differenes in specs myself.
  8. Since we're on the topic, what material is the stock 240Z gas tank made out of? I'm thinking about welding some stainless steel bung adapters to the bottom and have AN lines just draw out of that. Crap, I better search or else I'll get yelled at. Oh yah BTW, no need posting another thread on the same topic... http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=108576
  9. Man, must be spiffy, brand new factory motors.
  10. I've just about watched this thing twice now
  11. Hey admins, this is 2 out of 2 stupid posts by this guy.
  12. Like I said, HKS doesn't make one, not even on the Japan site.
  13. Third of all why isn't this in the RB forum!
  14. You are going to pay a nice premium on those gaskets though, just letting you know.
  15. Bingo, use your money elsewhere that's more important to you, but that's just my opinion, spend your money how you like, that's what makes your Z yours and not mine.
  16. In all honesty, how much HP do you think you will gain from spending $200 on eletronic water pump?
  17. I hear these suckers go out pretty quick and are recommended for track use only.
  18. Oh yeah, however Tomei makes one though, just to let you know. http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/e108_CG.L6_gasket.html
  19. I don't think they ever made them... http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/engine/metal/metal.html
  20. I would definately run some 225/50/R15's or 205/55R15's 60's a bit tall for me, I'm running 205/55R15 front and 225/50R15 rear. (AVS ES-100) and according to Yokohama, these tires are exactly the same diameter front and rear. You can use simple conversions to figure this out.
