  1. I do apprechiate all the help you've provided me on this topic.
  2. I'll check on this tommorow, but hpoefully it'll be alright once I get the car running and do some shakedowns.
  3. After tinkering a bit, I figured out how to properly install them, and what do you know, it works... Now does it look okay? thats my other question, I sat in the back and had my friend push the car back and fourth to hear any clicks, none so far...
  4. Thanks for the posts guys, I will dig a little deeper maybe I might find my answers.
  5. This is a picture of a RB25DET transmission if anyone is curious.
  6. Alright, I searched, did the deal.... if you do find a similar thread, moderators/admins feel free to delete this or Tool Shed this sucker... Now, I have a Series 1 240Z, I heard that in the later years models (not exactly sure which ones) that the rear control arms were changed. IF they have been changed, what changes were made?
  7. Let's see, according to the R33 Factory Service Manual...(Keep in mind that the RB20 for this manual refers to the Skyline and not the 200ZR oil pan). There are different specs for N1, or Standard, but you have two eyes so just read it. I hope this helps! I also believe that this chart is in liters so that will help you and all of us yanks will get semi-confused.
  8. I haven't gotten any emails when someone responds to a thread or sends me a PM, what gives?
  9. Of course I'm going to write something up. I plan on using an ApexI PowerFC
  10. I got my Fidanza flywheel from them.
  11. Most likely due to my thoughts and feelings of producing a good enough product, I will not be making the transmission mounts. The motor mounts should be finished soon which I will let everyone know when those are ready again. The sets that I did have sold already.
  12. Small Megan Intercooler (with custom Nismo graphics! jk jk jk). Fuel management maybe some kind of external Aeromotive pump or something. Surge tank temporarily until I can baffle my fuel tank or some crap.
  13. He doesn't even have the motor yet (to my knowledge). Oh yeah and... bump
  14. If you have a hard time looking for a part number let me know.
  15. Pictures would really help. It's like describing the beauty of a Z to a blind kid, no way he would understand or apprechiate it, lol.
  16. Totally different... You can use a RB20DET tranny though, but they don't hold as much power.
  17. Here is my setup as follows. (All of this on a 10/70 240Z) R180 4.11 from 200SX 1st Generation Maxima Companion Flanges I took a pair of short R200 centershafts (both driver side axles), and exchanged the centershafts into the R180 axles. The axles after getting them rebuilt are still a little long. Am I using the right companion flange? This is giving me a headache! PLEEASE HELP ME OUT.
  18. Wouldn't you rather have the video clip!?
  19. I really really want to get this thing on the road. The car misses walking on Hondas.
  20. Custom made from Japan takes 90+ days in some cases. Trust me, I know some of the guys at Mackin really well and they say "good luck" half of the time.
  21. You're better off finding other wheels with correct bolt pattern and offset specific to what you want.
  22. Just a reminder, that each driveshaft is pretty specific to car maybe? Suspension geometry in the rear changes from certain years (minor albeit) but some maybe more aft than others? Also, I had my driveshaft made to my specs and my mounts with certain specifications.
  23. In all honesty, I wouldn't really twin turbo a RB25DET unless you really like that wow factor. A nice GT3076R should do the trick, or something along those lines.
