  1. just make sure you use the prep stuff and clean and scrub all the grime and dirt off. my dash cover is next on the list to paint... need it to match the rest of the interiors pieces
  2. here are some of the pictures from today guys. again, i loved how the paint turned out on the interior pieces! before paint after paint... bad picture of the transmission tunnel console... i'll get a better one later
  3. thanks for the info guys!!! so i ended up using the dupli color vinyl paint, bought one can to test, ended up loving the results.. i put down a good two coats of it.. I will upload the results from my camera later tonight! thanks again
  4. I'm currently working on the interior of my car, trying to get things looking like new again. I've been looking into Vinyl Paint? I know Dupli Color makes a spray bottle with this. I am planning to paint my plastic pieces, transmission tunnel console and door panels. Wondering if anyone has experience with this paint or the Dupli Color Vinyl paint? I did a search, and brought up an old thread but it didn't bring up Dupli Color? I know there's other paints out there, but our auto supply town here doesnt carry any other paint than dupli color. thanks in advance guys!!!!
  5. ^ dimond racing! one of the cheapest but quality ways to score with wheels. You could try zilvia.net great place to find some hard to find wheels, gotta sign up as a member first.
  6. to be honestly, i only go to wheel/tire companies for tires or for some really rare wheels that cant be found anywhere else. The best wheels out there are wheels that people already own. if you dont mind used wheels, i say check out zilvia.net. there are a lot of 240sx guys that run all kinds of hard to find JDM wheels that are also applicable for our cars. I scored some SSR SP1's deep dish wheels from zilvia for dirt cheap. If i were to order straight from SSR, it would have taken 3 months to arrive from japan and cost 3 times as much as a got them for. if your dont want to go that route, it depends what brand wheels your looking for? it will narrow different places that offer a certain wheel. TireRack is good, but sometimes limited in sizes and offset. You just have to search around i guess.
  7. ^ i agree with longevity of suede, it doesnt last as long as leather... but i like both.. i just went with leather with my steering wheel to match the interior with my car. and i agree, if you have the money, go for a nardi steering wheel!!! freaking nice.
  8. looks like mine! but mine is grey, so i cant post here... on jack stands and all
  9. yeah took me about good two months while my car was at the body shop to figure out what color i wanted. it is the hardest choice to make. choose wisely good sir
  10. thanks a lot!!! really looking to do something similar...
  11. scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult... how hard was these gauges to install? looking to up grade my stock look a bit?
  12. need a bump stop from what i can see? short one that is
  13. yes sir, i went for that color. mine is more of a creamy pearl grey.
  14. not yet man =( finally getting my brakes ready to be installed, but this rain is holding me back too. I got my coilovers installed, hopefully by Monday i can get the brakes on also. here is how my set up is looking and current photo of my car. as you can see, still on jack stands
  15. why dont you buy the wheel now so by the time christmas comes you can install it!!! thats what i did, should be here within another week or so
  16. nice man... hope my car will be that low when i finally get my car on the ground... what size wheels you running, just making a comparison with mine, between where my spindle is position compared to your center of your hub cap.
  17. 2500, little pricey, but you got the money then why not? but for me, i would use 2500 to do something else with my car.
  18. i just purchased a wheel from this ebay seller.. cool guy to deal with, offers this wheel for a really low cost.... the hub only cost me 20 dollars more for the boss kit. i went with leather just to go with my interior... plus i dont go autox, maybe once every 2 years for fun =)
  19. did he supply you with a hub also??? how much did the hub cost you?
  20. how is the swede on there? i was thinking of getting one from this guy too? i'm torn between the swede and leather?
  21. i could use this same design to attach my front mounts on my s2k seats... good work, how much would you sell a pair for if you where to sell?? just a thought
  22. ^ that totally an Epic fail of the year... take that crap to a wheel and tire shop they could have gotten it out, they did for mine at Big Brand tires.

    S2k seats

first placed the seats in my car, the rear bracket on the rails were adding some hieght on the seats... when i cut them off it made is a lot shorter. the spacer didnt really add much height. their only a 1/4" think. sorry not much detail right now but i will maybe make a write up later for you guys!
