Did the 84's have fog lights? I have a button for them but no lights, also the aux lights next to the headlights don't work...

Well the 300zx rims are +30 all around but the 350z wheels are +30 front and +33 rear. The solution is for me to get 4 fronts...

z31 stock rims are +30 same as 350z

Whatever you just said doesn't make sense. Nevermind because I just figured out a flaw in my own idea...

The 350z wheels are 30 offset front and 33 rear, do the rear hubs of a 300zx stick out farther to accommodate this or should i put the 33 offsets in front?

Whats the deal with bump steer spacers and rear camber issues I keep hearing about? I have been able to guess that lowering springs mess with the rear camber but at what point do I need to fix it?

I need a Borg Warner 5-speed out of an 84-86 300zx Turbo, I would like to pay 100-150 for a nice low mile trans, I will pay shipping.

1984 Turbo 5-speed So I was told that the shifter linkage has busted a pin or something resulting in me not being able to use 3rd and 4th gear. I bought it this way so I have no idea how it happened. All I know is that everything the guy told me so far is a lie so no I wonder about the shifter linkage. I was told by a buddy that it may be the syncros? Can this be something that a rebuild kit will fix?

I need a T5 for my 84 300zx, I know that all 5-speeds from 84-86 turbo 300zx's will be T5's and fit, and to use a mustang T5 I need a lot of mods to make it fit. My question is will a T5 from a 280zx turbo fit a 300zx, if so are there any modifications needed or is everything a direct swap?

Ya, I'll try someone else, but I am gonna hit up the Nissan dealership and see if they can pull an original 300zx key out their rear first!

I have been reading about how Tokico springs have major issues on the 240z's, but do any of you Z31'ers have them for your cars? I want to go with Tokico illumina's and Tokico springs but if they are bad then I'll go with Eibach...

Last time I went to a lock smith I gave em my number and what I needed and they never got back to me... I will try again and in the meantime I hope to get some knowledge from someone here...

Can I punch a 240z-280zx key blank for a 84 300zx? It looks like the groves match up and are on the correct side, I just want to verify... Anyone know?

So I am looking for an intercooler, an oil cooler, and where to find poly spring seats to fit my stock 84 Z31 Turbo? What do you use? Pictures?

I plan on going with the Tokico springs and Illuminas all around on my z31. I'm also upgrading to Poly bushings but where can I get poly spring seats?

I got these from someone out in Indiana, neither he nor I know where they came from... I am 6'6" so I had so get the seats as low to the floor and as far back as I could so I drilled extra holes in the stock s130 rails and bolted em in. The rail closer to the center console bolts in but I have to drill new holes in the floor about 2" over and bolt it in. They fit nice, reclining and sliding. Just so y'all know the car is for sale with the seats included...

I have the factory leather seats in my 1984 300zx and they just need to be re-stitched. Anyone know of somewhere near Portland Oregon?

I cant explain why I always loved the look of the Datsun Z. I am 18 almost 19 and I live out on the foothills of Mt. Hood Oregon. I've had a 1988 Jeep Cherokee, turns out it was an official US Olympics version and I didn't even realize this until I sold it, it was a super rare 5-speed 4-door. Then I bought a 1988 Chevy Camaro, I was in need of a car and it was $200 so I took it even though it was an automatic. Then I traded the Camaro for a 1983 Chevy K20 3/4 ton pickup with a 454 swapped in it. I've still got the truck to this day. My first Z is a 280zx, 1983, NA 5-speed. I actually found it on craigslist as I was randomly browsing, I saw 280zx and $500 and clicked the link, when I found out that it ran and drove I quickly snatched it up. I have been working on it and getting into the Z car crowd for quite a while now. After working with the Z and reading how so many people love the 1970-72 240z's I searched and searched for one but I could never find one, so about a month ago I decided for now it would be easier to get a 84-89 300zx. So I turned my searching from 240z's to the 300zx's and found a near perfect GLL version of an 84 300zx 5-speed. It needs tranny work but will soon become my daily driver.

So it does exist but I cant see it on any 300zx...

So I run a website or a local auto shop and every time I'm down there one of the guys says that his buddy has a 300zx with "quadra steer". He claims that it is where when you steer the front tires don't turn as much and the rear tires also turn but just a little bit to give it 4-wheel steering, the kicker is that he claims its a factory option. If for some reason hall has frozen over and it really did exist then I apologize. Its just so funny!
