  1. the easiest way is to unscrew the little phillips head screws on the base of the injectors. Once all the injectors are off the manifold you can remove and replace one. Installation is the same as removal, just make sure all the o-rings are in the holes or you will have vacuum leaks.
  2. You ruined it for yourself when you showed up with the ghetto beast.
  3. same boat... If i hadn't been so impatient with money to burn I would have waited out for a totally rust free Z. such is life.
  4. reminds me of the ricer mantality... use body kits to get the car lower than the coilovers will go...
  5. Exactly. When I get myself into positions where I'm "trying to teach the other person a lesson" I just back off and think, this person would not piss me off as much if I wasn't playing along. The correct thing to have done was let him pass... that's where YOU wen't wrong. I'm not saying its your fault or anything, but if you had kept cool and not "hit it in 3rd" I guarrantee you would not be as P.O.'d as you are now.
  6. anywhere from 50-150, depending on how bad the other person needs it.
  7. yeah... that is a little more involved. I tried driving the car with shoes on this time and it made a difference. I think it will be alright, until I get around to welding in new seat brackets.
  8. This was a simple install, but I am still not happy with it. These are corbeau forza imitations, and, like the originals, they have that little "thigh pillow". They push my legs into too much of a bend to reach the pedals and they are a little uncomfortable. If anyone has any ideas on how to get the seat lower I would be very happy to hear them. pics:

  11. Looks awesome. One day i hope to get some headwork done by Rusch Motorsports. On a side note... last night I had a dream that i was given a p90(no "a") anyone care to make my dream come true? lol
  12. I got your email paul I will be heading over to the radio shack. Is there any complication with running the resistor into the cabin? (i.e. wire resistance/ foot of wire?) thanks for all the replies guys! This thread has proven to be very informative for me. -Oliver
  13. keep us updated! Seems like everything would be easier if the car was right hand drive....
  14. Interseting dash setup... Any more pics of that?
  15. Thanks Paul! you always seem to clear things up for me! Projects for this week before the autox: install NB O2 sitting in my room and make sure i'm running on the rich side -and- adjust afm if i'm not running rich already. I cant wait until I have megasquirt on this car!!!
  16. Hey jon, What is your setup again? what head/block combo are you running? I remember you saying you had upped compression somewhere. I'm just trying to see how close your combo is to mine.
  17. yep! sounds like I will be running the next autox on AV gas!
  18. the original pic looks like one of a deformed 240z yet I still like it.
  19. I have a n42 head on a flat top pistoned block. I can hear detonation on the higher load gears... (4 and 5) today, someone offered to bring me some AV 100 octane gas the next time I go autoxing. Is there anything to becareful with? What I have heard is that it will mess up O2 sensors and Catalytic converters. Since I don't have either, i should be ok right? This will not mess up my injectors or eat through my hoses will it? -Oliver
  20. thats how they should teach physics... ...the hands on aproach.
  21. interesting look... seems like quite a few people are going for the "off road foglights" in the grille.
  22. i'm speaking off the top of my head, but doesn't the rear crossmember on both cars have two notches for the exhaust? (one larger, one smaller?)
