  3. hmmm... doesn't coke usually get shot up the nose?
  4. the corvette would have to be sectioned in the center about 15 inches or so, for the wheels to fit the body in the right place. didn't someone stick a skyline under one a while ago?
  5. I will go with Modern motorsports when I go for coilovers. I'm sure Ross would be able to answer many more questions than cosmoracing ever could.

http://www.oregontrail.net/~rond/tech_tips.htm here's some info. I assume you are talking about the L20B not the L20A.
  7. wow. that is kinda f'd up. But then again she totally over reacted.
  8. wow. Looks like fun! why not make a cross country trip in the z? I drove my z to florida, now i must drive it back to cali from whence it came to complete my z's journey to its home land. And then I'll drive back of course wow did I just hijack the thread and make it about me...
  9. you can see him flinging back in shock. I bet that hurt... or he just got really scared.
  10. yes welcome! LS2 in a miata!! sweet! how does it do in the corners compared to a standard engined miata? (besides the obvious ability to power oversteer)
  11. hotness! what are the plans?
  12. http://s63.photobucket.com/albums/h158/ppcrover/?action=view&current=e5427b4a.flv I think it would have been easier for him to swap that into a z
  13. haha drive by wire... it just looks wierd to me Sounds great!
  14. your tail light gaskets might be detiriorated. In that case you can fix it with some CHEAP 1/2" (or 5/8") high density foam weather stripping from home dopot. Let me tell you this stuff has gone a LONG way for me. I sealed up my tail lights, (no more fumes) I used it to install my water temp gauge, and I used it to shock mount my radio. I LOVE THIS STUFF!
  15. i wonder if he races that thing too... they have a class for those kinds of trucks.
  16. isn't 22.3 really lean? also, have you configured the lc1 with your lap top?
  17. Double a-arms in the front is a step forward but a solid rear seems like a step back. Why not use a subframe from something like a 240sx or a 300zx or even an infinity? great project by the way, many props!
  18. lol yes i did! but i finally got the radio working. I started playing with the harness and splicing it directly into the body harness and after tracing down some questionable wiring (anyone remember those split-offs that you push into the wire without cutting it?) I finally got the radio to come on. I also rewired my speakers since one was louder than the other. also... did z's only come with one speaker from the factory? in my fsm it only shows black and black with red stripe wire going to the right speaker. There don't appear to be any provisions for a left speaker besides the hole in the sheet metal.
  19. I checked the radio directly with the battery and i got nothing. I will be taking it in for service tomorrow and in the meantime I will be splicing the radio harness directly to the chassis harness. Right now it is going through another radio harness. It is a mess down there lots of ziptied and looped wires.
  20. for some reason I'm convinced its italian
  21. do you want all that rear positive camber too?
  22. I think you're letting a girl change you. But on a serious note, if you seal the entire area you will be happier, because that will get ALL the fumes out. If you just do a balancing port, you will still get fumes ocasionally. And if you do a side exit exhaust it's just going to look like crap imo.
