  1. Ive got a 1990 z32 na 5speed parts car with tranny and all associated parts still on the car. Not sure what their worth? Its got an aluminum driveshaft also.
  2. Factory fuel injection and computer on a n/a 2jz would easier and cheaper. You could use the stock 2jz harness for the motor. I think there was less than 10 wires to hook up when I started my 2jzgte on a stand. That included the fuel pump. Memory is fading tho
  3. Do you have an intercooler? Intercooling makes a big difference with how much boost you can run without detonation.
  4. If your looking for 250whp thats not an ideal turbo. The stock turbo could handle that from what I read. A .93 trim or did you mean A/R? There are cheaper options.
  5. I bought 36lb/hr from Motor Man Fuel Injection Supply. Call them and tell what you want. They have the larger ones there too. They really know their stuff. Just google Motor Man Fuel Injection Supply. They are bosch and he sent the short hoses and clamps with them and the seal on the manifold side. They are a direct fit for my 81 l28et manifold.
  6. If he had any travel left in the suspension it would be a positive camber curve. Can only imagine what angle the control arms are at now. Ouch! I guess it doesn't matter it looks bottomed out anyways.
  7. I've never heard of any problems with the stock manifolds warping? I straight edged mine before installing it. I have a second one lying around the garage it's pretty flat too.
  8. I think 9/74 was late model. 8/74 and before was the earlier model.
  9. http://store.driftmotion.com/static/i-densobottomslotconnf2.php It says they fit 7m injectors.
  10. Is the car listed on Craigs list in Santa Cruz? Saw one listed there for $1900.
  11. I have a v160,car is still being built.
  12. No it doesnt matter which ecu(auto or manual tranny as long as its a jdm ecu on jdm motor) you use. But you will need to jumper connections on the tranny wiring harness or you can tie into the starting solenoid wire as this is what gets locked out through the ECU when auto tranny is not in park or Neutral or thinks it is.I bought a jdm 2jzgte motor with a auto ecu and a w58 5 speed tranny. I started it on a engine stand this way. It works. Im not sure about vvti and or if its drive by wire. These motors are more expensive and im not sure if its worth the extra money. There are some minor wiring/ pin configuration between the usdm and jdm/ ecu and wiring harnesses.
  13. I believe the 440cc injectors are high impedance and are good to about 450whp. The us 550cc injectors are low impedance they need resistors/driver box to work.
  14. I bought this same machine about a year ago. Its a good machine. I'm happy with it. Wish the duty cycle was higher tho. Oh well that's what preheat is for. If you have never tig welded before you should take some classes. There's a lot to learn. I took all the classes my local community college had available. Went part time for 2.5 years. 17 years later I'm Still learning. Enjoy.
  15. The price is the real issue. The getrag is very expensive, even used. The reason they use a gm tranny is an automatic thing. The r154 is a good tranny for a reasonable price. Its not near as strong as the getrag. Stock getrags are known to hold 700 to 800 wheel hp. And yes they do break depending on how hard they are abused. Just my .02. The r154 have thier own issues as well. Both are good trannies. All depends on budget and intended use for what you want.
  16. The getrag tranny needs the shifter mount shortened. http://i1096.photobucket.com/albums/g335/ozzzzz1/IMG_1369.jpg So no it wont fit unless you mount the engine further from firewall. Some tunnel mods were made to get it to fit.

    2jz gte

Is your motor us or jdm. There are some wiring differences. The MAF and MAP difference.
  18. Also the cup size on the tig torch needs to be as small as posiable. It decreases the HAZ zone and chances of carbide precipitation..(Exhaust manifold for a turbo would not be an ideal first project for Stainless). Solar flux type B can also be used on the backside of the weld if backing gas is not practical..
  19. Just a fyi the arizona z parking brake is not available yet.
  20. Built dolly car sees light of day 1st time in more than 18 monthes.
  21. They are still not available to the public. Would be a good comparison. My friend is sponsered and will be getting his within the week.
  22. Yes,only in refference to the rear control arms.
  23. Replacing the rear H arm bushings sucks.
