  1. If you have intermittent wipers the clicking you hear is most likely the intermittent amplifier which is located under the glove box.It is the time delay unit for your wiper sweeps. Might need replacement. This feature was added in the 72 build year. LARRY
  2. I'm always happy to see another Z car with forced induction. Let's see a video of that in action. Here's a shot of my 'wimpy" 144 in comparison to the 6-71 blower.... LARRY
  3. Here's a write up on that method... http://www.georgiazclub.com/tips/ztech/v8cooling.htm LARRY
  4. Depends, Two seaters used the same glass up to 6/76 build date. The regulators are unique to the 70-73 240Z. 2+2 and 2 seater Z window and windshield glass can not be innerchanged. LARRY

  9. The diode has to be attached to the bottom of the "T" wire. usually a white with black stripe that goes to the "L' terminal on the alt. This prevents current feedback that would keep the car running with the key off. LARRY
  10. After looking at some of your old posts which car are you talking about and are you doing a restoration or modifing one with a engine swap??? LARRY
  11. Go to this link and on the bottom of the page click on fuel injector flow rate table. This might help you. http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/injectors/index.html LARRY
  12. They had a Q45/350Z show there today and I couldn't resist showing up with a 75 280Z 355 SBC/blower. Caused quite a gathering, picture taking and BS talk. I had a good time. Best question of the day..."That's not a Japanese engine is it??" Funniest thing to watch was guys having their girl/wife stand next to the car for a photo shoot... LARRY
  13. I'm not sure what a Accel 500 is and the Accel 375 to my knowledge is new Spring 2006. I don't know of anyone who has bought and installed it. Most people I know are using MSD or Mallory ignition systems. Buy the Accel 375 system and give us a writeup on it. LARRY
  14. If I'm understanding you right the FSM describes these as the vacuum-operating cock and the water cock that controls the amount of hot water that passes thru your heater core .The vacuuum one is operated by you moving the air lever between cold and hot, therefore you need both of them. They are tied in together and water is to both devices as I understand it. LARRY
  15. Are you the friend mentioned in this thread?? http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=113431 LARRY
