  1. buy a T piece to put between the oil pressure sensor and the block. That what I've done with mine. And I hope to be starting my converted l28e turbo this weekend.
  2. Hi all, I'm hoping to start my Z this thursday with a brandnew l28e converted to a turbo. But I have a little issue with my ignition module and its wiring. I have been talking to moby and be says that the module is fine and this is how to setup the wiring. I'm not saying that moby is wrong, I just want to be reassured by other people that the way I am hooking it up is right so I won't have spark issues on Thursday. Anyway, the details for the module is below, with the way I have wired it underneath that (I have posted this on the ms forums, but it seems no 1 there knows how to wire or they just plain dont want to help): Bosch - 9 222 067 021 (which has been replaced with 9 222 067 024) 1 Stage 8 - 10 Amps (Max Primary Current) 4 Pins Inductive Trigger The pins are: 3 = Inductive Pulse Generator [pos] 7 = Inductive Pulse Generator [neg] 15 = Ignition Positive 16 = Coil Negative Base = Ground "Modules are are compatible with MEC or HEC type ignition coils" This is how I have the wiring: If any1 can help me out with this I would be very thankful. Thanks again, Marc.
  3. Hah, now thats screwed up. And the last comment, I would have to agree he pulled that one outa his butt.
  4. Ok I have sent the email off, but for others the module I have looks like this:
  5. Cool thanks, I'll get the photo's today.
  6. Hi all, I've just about finished my install of ms on my turbo 260z 2+2 but I need a little help, or get told that I bought the wrong thing but anyway. I went to my local Holden dealer (which is a GM company) and gave them the information in moby's thread with a photo of the hei module. I got a 4 pin module but it didnt look like a boomerrang and was told it does the same job. But the problem I have is that there are no letters for the pins, only numbers. The numbers go 3, 7, 15, 16 with a smaller pin under the number three. Think of the module as a rectangle that has 4 pins coming out the bottom. The part number is 9 222 067 021 (That number has been changed to 9 222 067 024.) Moby has confirmed that the module's information looks correct so I'll be trying it out. If it work's I'll post the rest of the details for the module in here for reference (maybe someone else will get this module and hopefully do a search for the number.) Thanks, Marc.
  7. It doesn't make any difference which one you rotate. But in some cases you will have to rotate both of them to get the oil supply and return lined up properly.
  8. Yep, you will need a spacer and a gasket either side of the spacer.
  9. I bet my post count will be back to about 10 heh. *Edit hahah form 600 to 180, now that proves it I'm over 50% crap!
  10. I'll be running 98 octane @ 15-20psi on my t3/t04e l28 engine. I've been running that on my high compression SU engine also.
  11. Yep the na turbo conversion engine I have was a dished pistoned n/a in a n42 block.
  12. Heh no, I've imported alot of turbo engine parts. The thing just about isn't a l28e anymore (only bits left are the block, crank, rods and pistons thats about it)
  13. As far as I know, t04e/t3 hybrid on a L28E engine. In a 260z 2+2
  14. God damn how I want that1! But Blake is very nice person and a pleasue to do business with (bought a turbo manifold from him and I'm in Aus).
  15. Ahh ok, well I'll be calling the fellas tommorow to get them to make it up for me (same guys you got your clutch from 260det). Should suit my application fine. Thanks for the replies.
  16. Hey all, I have found a clutch I want to get but I have 1 little question. What is the deal with Organic Lining? Thanks, Marc.
  17. Diesel over here in Aus is also more expensive than the normal unleaded fuel (majorty of people use this one correct). But wasn't the purpose to diesel to have cheaper fuel? Quite funny really.

    Clutch prices

Cool thanks for the replies guys. So I'm looking at about $300US ($400AU) minimum. Also 260det would this be the place? http://www.lightcomworld.com.au/outlets/direct/index.htm
  20. Hi all, I'm going to need a new clutch for my turbo setup in my Datsun 260z 2+2 with a T5 transmission. I need to get a clutch that will be able to handle 300rwhp+, so what prices am I going to be looking at. Also what clutches could you recommend. I have no clue when it comes to clutch prices so I need to know how much to put aside. Thanks, Marc.
