Hey, I know its not a z... Still thought you guys would like this (maybe?) Whilst I'm waiting for the tein Coilovers to show up, I decided to go ahead and paint the mk4 gti vr6's rims black. They turned out really nice actually, so here are pictures. Took wheels off, taped everything off. used a high grit sand paper to take off everything and remove blemishes. primered a few coats, sanded each coat smooth. 2 coats of black some clear coat later done in a fully heated vented paint room, set at about 90 degrees. Was super nice compared to the outside 40 degree and raining weather. Final product Thats about it.. Thanks, Sean.

What I've heard you do is this... insure them as a show car (IE you can only put limited miles on them) and then you get it licensed as a collector car or something like that.

Here's my 2 set ups. 14x7 Celica Supra rims (ride height is sorted out now) 15x7 0 Offset Enkei 92's double powder coated black. Next set of rims are going to be 16x10, 16x9 bassett racing rims green like the celica rims. Under stock fenders, no flares.

Hey, I live up in Mukilteo, My L28et/Megasquirt is 99% done, I'll trololol down after my diffs welded and we can go for a ride! Good luck with highschool, ladies love the z. I graduated last year though. Also, L28ET will get you there in a hurry, no need to dive straight into a 5.0 which is a bit of a ***** to swap. I've seen the build before, its not pretty.

tires are cheaper, if you can find them... I used to have a set of those rims, loved them. Also, your last point is highly debatable...

As a member of the zip tied allstars, I would suggest zip ties and a hole punch. However, seeing how some people have a nice shop to work with I advise the responsible intelligent thing and do the heat gun!

brake and fuel lines are generally ran next to the frame rail, but I supposed you could mount them in the tunnel too, I need to route my rear lines into the cab of my car for the hydraulic shaft brake.

I just got done in the paintbooth while its not running, No new frame rails? pffff that and a welded diff are the two things I need haha school done for a month or so. Yesssss
