Second, searching is the key to this site. all of your answers are here somewhere. sometimes the search feature is kind of crappy, but if you work with it you'll find what your looking for. Thirdly, I think the user thrustnut has some seats he's trying to sell. I'm not sure but you could contact him via pm to find out.
  2. Where would you get a bigger 4 lug rotor? I didn't think that they went bigger than that without stepping up to wilwoods.

  4. The "How it works" videos are very nice. it actually lifts the paint rather than pushing it away...
  5. I see your in sacremento, up north we just leave the car outside in the winter lol...dry ice works very very well. although you can also get a small blow torch and heat it, then scrape. its nearly as easy...
  6. 2JZGTE VVT-i with the 6 speed getrag is nicer than the RB imho...But, I AM a toyota guy before i'm a nissan guy, and i'm a mazda guy After that but before 1995 or so...

  10. To me, this is a shame, the rotory is a beautiful piece of engineering, and tons upon tons of power is available. i just cant for the life of me understand swapping it for any other engine. In fact, I'd love to swap in a 3 or 4 rotor for the z, and my IS300. to put it this way, if you are able to build a quad rotor, and have a dremel, you can have 450 hp, N/A without sacrificing any drivability. and the torque figures are pretty decent too...
  11. Yeah turbo mounting is a little crazy...lets just say, not the way I would've done it.

  17. in that case the bias on my setup would be perfect...

It's not the 240sx setup, its a hybrid FWD Maxima/280zx/300zx setup in the back, and i am using the Vented Toyota/300zx setup in the front, and a 15/16 Master Cylinder. really, the back brakes aren't quite balanced with my setup as they aren't grippy enough in comparison to the Toyota stuff up front, but I'm compensating with better pads out back. if you plan to keep the front brakes stock, you wont need a new master or really good pads like i do.
  19. I wish I did, but like most people on here, my z is in about 300+ pieces and I never thought to take pics before hand. Actually I think I have a five speed version of that shift knob too. I will add that the wheel is not made of real wood, mine isn't anyway. Its compression molded plastic, but the finish is very good, and I couldn't even tell.
  20. i have the #2 option. feels great, looks awesome, and imo, suits the overall feel and style of the z better.
  21. No big deal man, no hard feelings. He was up front that a guy from NY was wanting it, and i thought it sounded sketchy especially when he asked for a deposit, and was against me using paypal. then we had traffic issues, and I was like, if it sells, it sells. I didn't need to spend that much on another car as it is.

Yeah I saw that ad, but i want to turn wrenches. and i'm not down to blow 6 grand, 3900 was going to kill me, but if it was that nice, i would have dropped it. he was a nice guy, i was slightly worried about a scam, but its good to see that it wasn't the case. i saw a shell for 750 i might jump on.
  23. balls!!! good luck with it. we would have had it if we made the drive last night. if anyone else knows of any pretty rust free z's with no motor or trans, but clean body's let me know.
