Here is what I’m talking about. Is it supposed to squirt fluid like that in the forward res? The rear one doesn’t do that. I’ve never seen/noticed that before.

I did bench bleed the MC. I did notice that it seems like there is fluid squirting into the reservoir when I press the pedal from the bottom??? Almost like fluid is bypassing. Bad MC?

Ok guys. I have an issue and want to confirm my fix before spending money. I have the stock 260 master cylinder and booster installed. Up front I have 240SX calipers and on the back I have the wilwood setup for an 8.8 rear-end. Before I tore the car apart I had drums on the back and 300ZXTT large calipers up front. This setup worked great with the stock master and booster. But now I’m getting nice air free fluid out of the master and all calipers but brake is spongy and takes 3 pumps before I get the brakes to stop the car. First pump nothing, second pump slight stopping, 3rd pump locks up the brakes but still goes almost all the way to the floor. If I hold it they don’t release. I’m thinking after reading the stickies my master cylinder is no longer up to the task. I want to upgrade to the wilwood 1 inch. Just want to confirm I’m not missing something simple. All stock brake lines are removed and replumbed with hard line and braided hoses. all stock valving on the firewall is removed and i plan on installing a wilwood porportioning valve once i get the brakes a little closer to operational any inputs.

Looks awesome. Your in the same boat as me when it comes to front wheels. No body makes a 3.5 inch wheel with the right offset so they tuck under the fender. I used really small diameter tires and sucked my control arms in as far as they would go. Now you just need to get some more low ;> Before small tires After small tires. Lowered to the race ride height Now i need to get me a set of bump steer spacers.

I think the best option is the euro taillights. I'm not a fan of the skyline in a Z mod. i really think datsun got them right in the 240

Craig, I understand it was more of a wish list thing... it would be extremely easy to mold them into and existing FRP shell then to mold them to a steel chassis. Love the door panels !!!!!!

I'M one of those people. I would want the shell with subtleZ rear quarters :>

We used the 3m stuff to do my subtleZ wide-body rear 1/4s. Dont remember what the part number was but it was the same stuff corvette uses to glue all the body parts together on the newer vettes!!! The thing I didn't like about using rivets was it kind of deformed the panels. enough that more body work would have been needed vs just bonding them on. The car sat in my trailer over the winter and still looks perfect

A roller is exactly that a shell with a basic suspension installed so it could be pushed around. SO if i understand you...a person could buy a shell, and a front sub-frame. Then take a stock 240Z and pull all drivetrain parts off and install them in the fiberglass chassis? Are all the bolt on locations drilled and ready or is some assembly required ;> this sounds like an awesome deal. There is no way i could do it now BUT i still would be interested in shipping for a shell and front subframe.

Is there a rear subframe? Have you considered building a full roller?

Thru some water and gas in the Z today and to my surprise, it fired right up. The only issue i had was a small trans pan leak ( I have been putting off) leaked all the trans fluid out on to the trailer floor . Put a Qt in and backed it out of the trailer into the garage. . Now i just have to look it over and make a to-do list. One of the top things is to get it tuned. Its running VERRYYYYY rich right now because of the altitude. My eyes were burning after 20 seconds!!!

All i know about rotaries is they sound really cool and they blow up really easy ..... blew up 3 of them before my rb days ;>
