  1. No, on the jets. Don`t know about butterflies. I would lean towards NO as the answer to that question also.
  2. I don`t have any details, just found it doing some surffing. It looks like a cowl hood with the nose opened.
  3. Found it going thru some posts on ZDriver
  4. Yes, the two main parts of the half shafts (not the U-joints).
  5. Has anyone givin this any thought ? You gotta figure the lube in them has been used up after all these years.(they do have some movement in and out) I have a spare set that I was going to disassemble, clean, lube and reassemble. Would a zerk fitting mounted in the large end throw off the ballance of the shaft ? Any Thoughts . . .
  6. Robin almost looks, well like Robin ! And the "full size" woman (P C) is the Penguin .
  7. Folks, You Get What You Pay For ! There`s high quality lubes and there`s less than high quality lubes. Cheap "whatever" is cheap "whatever" ! ! !
  8. I had to put my plug in here ! http://www.amsoil.com/products/cars/index.htm
  9. Now, That`s a big motor ! I bet it sounds sweet . . .
  10. Good Luck (keeping it running) so you can prove your point .
  11. So any word ? Did any neighbors see anything ? Can the police do anything ? (that`s a dumb question) You gona do that ninja thing again ?
  12. Hey Brad, Are you in any of the pics ? Just courious, to put a face with a name. Thanks for the 3 peice, it`s on the car and I like it ! (tho not painted yet)
  13. Scott, The easiest and cleanest install of duals (on an early Z) I`ve seen. . . A fuel cell mounted (centered) and the exhaust came out thru the bumper shock wholes in the rear panel.(bumpers were removed) Super clean, you could not even see the exhaust from the rear (except where it came under the diff). What was seen from the rear were two nice big exhaust pipes sticking out. 1 on each side.
  14. Would any of you with V-8`s give me some options for quality tune up parts (i.e. plugs, cap & rotor and plug wires). This is my tow vehicle, a 89 Dodge van with a 318 ci TBI engine.
  15. So now it all makes sence ! (just kidding) I`ve got some stupid stories too, but I won`t tell them. Most of my "stupid" stuff happens when I`m by my self, which can be kinda scary when no one is around to help. Hope your ok !
  16. As far as the aluminum threaded sleeve, you can buy these seperately. So the coil overs will work.(with the smaller sleeves)(if needed) The catalogs list 280 sway bars as bigger than 240 / early 260 sway bars. They will bolt up but if the spring rates are high on the springs it might be to much sway bar for the 240 / 260. If it`s a good deal, get it and install it and see how it feels. Just try to find out what the spring rates are. The shocks will not work, the rotors and S/S line will ! Now, if you are talking about the "strut assemblies" they will bolt up to your 240.
  17. IMO, This IS NOT good. The mounting of the belts looks ok, but as JohnC said the belts must not be hung off the the side of a seat the way this pic shows. They need to come thru the seat back and across your shoulders at the right hieght and width. And second, the seat back should also be supported.
  18. Extended drain intervals are the appeal to most using synthetics, as well as the better protection they offer. It doesn`t apply to all lubes, some of the "synthetic lubes" out there aren`t going to cut it. Oil analysis and changing the filtration (oil and air) is what makes longer drill intervals possible. Here is a link to Amsoils record for the most miles on there lubes. http://www.amsoil.com/testimonials/409000.htm
  19. You can get it here http://www.courtesyparts.com/350z/exterior.html or your local Nissan dealer. It`s only $15 and change !
  20. innerware, My 260 is the bronze color. I have blacked out alot of stuff and think it makes it look better until the paint job gets here. You can see my Z from the link in my sig. If you come up with some good ideas, let us know. Brown/Bronze isn`t my first choice of color for my car.
  21. I`ve used Valvoline synthetic for the past two years and have had good service from it. I previously use Castrol. I have heard that the Ford stuff is good also.
  22. I was just today reading about this in Autoweek mag. You lucky Man ! How about some free track day passes
  23. Welcome to HybridZ For your brake and suspension needs, ck with Ross C. at http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/default.php . The R200 will fit and the R230 will also fit with a different frt & rear mount mod. (search this topic) there should be lots of info. The 240 - 280 all have 4 lug stock. You can use front 5 lug hubs off a turbo 300XZ (Z31) and Ross C. (see link above) can hook you up with 5 lug rear stub axles. Again you should get info needed with a search. I can`t help much with the VG swap info, other than to say it`s doable and has been done. Maybe try a search here you should come up with something.
  24. DAMN ! Thank god for little girls ! eerr, big girls ! ! !
