  1. IMO, The hooziers let you know whats up. You can tell when it`s time to do a couple of cool down laps. Nothing wrong with the Kumhos, I get my Hoosiers from a racer friend that runs them 1 race then I buy them almost new and broken in.
  2. Hey Mudge, I was in your same boat when I started doing track events, just lovin the drive. If you love it now, get your self some Hoozier racing radials (or other hi pro tires) and put some suspension on your car, well all I can say is: It Kicks A$$ Oh and 1 more thing, BRAKES It will never end!
  3. Kroil is the best stuff out there! Find it and have it in your garage at all times.
  4. This is how to get it. (at least one way) I filled out a forn on Nissan`s "Z" site and this is the responce I received back. The cost of the DVD is $9.95 plus tax, shipping and handling. To order yours, simply call 866-225-0936 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST and give the representative your mailing information and credit card number.
  5. Now all you have to worry about is all the others that could hurt you or members of your family. As for alcohol, TAX THE HELL OUT OF IT ! ! ! I`m more concerned about a drunk driver than I am someone driving with a pot buzz. As for the harder drugs, that`s another story.
  6. WHAT ??? For a turbo you need to look at some sythetic lubricants. (for any engine IMO) Heat KILLS engine oil. And for coolant, there is only a few manufactures making the stuff. Go to Wal-Mart and get a name brand for $4.00.
  7. Looks to be a 3 piece rear spoiler. Don`t know any companies still making them, but you can still find them. Here`s on on ebay right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33638&item=2405974654&rd=1 I wish John Washington would make these !
  8. Super Sweet I hope I get to see it in person one of these days.
  9. Come on Terry, I saw the pics leading up to this. Show it all !!!
  10. http://www.minibite.com/america/godbless.htm
  11. J. Now what about the ballance of the modified pully ?
  12. I sent aviatorx a e-mail about a week ago asking the same, have not gotten a reply yet. Any updates?
  13. Terry, Do you know of anyone that makes them out of Lexan ?
  14. Has anyone purchased headlite covers from datsunrestore.com ? Are they any better than MSA / V B ? I would like to find some that fit well.
  15. Here is one artical, http://www.zccw.org/Tech/Body/09-97EarlyZAerodynamics.html
  16. If you are going to permanently cover these wholes, weld some sheet metal to cover and finish off.
  17. Joe, I`m going to say 1.5".(the thickness of the stock insulators) I had some other modified insulators on before these(which also lowered the car)so I did not take a measurment. I dont have any pics at this time, but I`m going to be doing some suspension work shortly and will document these an other mods. I used 1/8 plate 3.5 OD, used a holesaw to open center of the plate. I burned a regular shock insulator to get the center core out(part that the strut shaft mounts to with the D shaped whole), then welded the two pieces.
  18. Hey Joe, I made some non-ajustable offset camber plates out of some 1/8 inch steel. It eliminated the rubber shock mounts and lowered the car WITHOUT messing with supension geometry(other than camber which I ajust with ajustable camber bushings). I do not recommend using ajustable shocks with this kind of setup due to the shafts not being solid. I have been told stories of shock shafts breaking.
  19. Check the bulbs in the turn signals. If you have 1 bulb out, the indicater lite in the dash will lite but not blink. If all bulbs are good, maybe ck the turn signal flasher unit. And look under dash just to make sure something didn`t get disconnected.
  20. How many others CANNOT see pics in the albums page.
  21. James, Are you talking about the High Dollar signal pulley one that Nissan sells? Or is there others?
  22. I`m looking at one of these to replace the air dam that I now have. This is going on a car that is used 90% of time on track. So it needs to be able to hold up to high speed wind forces pushing against it.(I`m sure some bracing will be used to stiffen it up some) I am NOT concerned about turn signal mounting * Questions: How is the quality? Is the fiberglass thick or thin? Did it fit well or was mounting a problem? If any of you have these on you car and have good closeup front photo`s, please e-mail me some pics. I would also like to hear your opinions on part / install.
  23. Hey Grog, Was that a 2 or 4 door? If 4 door, front or rear door?
  24. Impact Parts used to sell full rear quarters with some flare built in????? I tried to get some of these a few years ago from Impact parts. Like most all other fiberglass parts, they have gone by the wiegh side. Anyone with an old Impat Parts catalog, ck and see. (I remember seeing these in a "white cover" catalog from them) I think I`m right
