  1. The blond was speeding and got pulled over by a blond cop. Blond Cop: May I see your drivers licence please mam. Blond: Drivers licence? What's that? Blond Cop: The rectangular thing with your picture on it. Look in your purse mam. The blond searches and finds a mirror in her purse. She looks at it for a moment then hand it to the blond cop. The blond cop looks at the mirror for a moment and hands it back to the blond and says "You can go mam, I didn't realize you were an officer too".
  2. That's awesome ON3GO! You must be talented. At least someone recognizes it and gives you the chance to prove it. More power to ya man.
  3. I think Cliftons solution is the best. Simple and effective. You could even put a bit of rubber under the bolt to kill some of the noise.
  4. Jeromio: I didn't think to try Autozone, they do have alot of stuff. 240Z2NV: It is, I just moved the OE to clarify that you cant use the idler pulley that was in that position.
  5. Cool, I'm using a willwood 3/4" master and the T56 I have has an internal slave so I'm going to eliminate the quick disconnect and just tap the slave cylinder and run a short length of flex the go hardline to the master (like Jeromio did). I think the tunnel needs some clearance for the reverse light switch. Bang bang with a big hammer should do it.
  6. Looks like it was made to be there. What transmission are you using?
  7. In order to overcome the small belt contact the original short belt conversion offered I have added an extra pulley to allow more belt contact area for the waterpump. You have to clearance 1 bolt (the bottom alternator bolt) to clear the belt. I got the aftermarket pulley from ebay and the belt at NAPA. The belt is a 6 rib 55 ¼" long, 060547. Here’s a picture (about 100k) http://www.circuitflex.com/ShortBelt1.jpg
  8. 1980 and older are exempt in Georgia. I feel for you AZ folks.
  9. Awsome! can't wait to get them. Thank's for going to all the trouble, I know it's a huge pita. Feel the front of one of the shirt's your going to send me and mark it. I'll make sure it get's worn by the right gender with large (huge) uuuuu.
  10. Do a search on Ebay "blasting cabinet".
  11. I use mine very often. My tools get blasted from time to time and I use it for really baked on cheese. The cardboard box is a great idea if your just going to use it now and again, but I like the recovery and storage for blasting media that the cabinet offers, not to mention the light inside so I can see.
  12. I got mine from Harborfreight also, I ended up replacing the gloves because I wore them out quick and I had to replace the plastic lens with some glass because it fogged up after about a year. Still it was a good deal and works fine.
  13. I think it's more like "What rotors go with the Toyota 4 runner brake setup?"
  14. Around 310 to 325 at the rear wheels. Add 15% for drivetrain loss and it's about 375 at the flywheel.
  15. I sold an aluminum driveshaft from my LS1 to cablebandit over on LS1tech. He was telling me about his twin turbo LS1, around 750 RWHP and it sounds stock. His rear locked up and ripped the driveshaft in half. The one I've got should make around 400 RWHP easy and still get 28 to 30 mpg in 6th gear (maybe I'll find out next month!).
  16. Try pulling the 128 stick out.
  17. I'm using Johns cars kit (see link below) and JTR's radiator and headers. The swap is stright forward enough, but you have to cut the transmission mounts out of the tunnel so there is no turning back. http://www.brokenkitty.com/zcar/zcar.htm
  18. Nope, never heard of them before. I just went to Google and did a search and they were the only ones in the Atlanta Georgia area. One of the girls that works for me knows that neck of the woods.
  19. Ok, Question. Does the pulse travel at a faster speed in a smaller pipe? Say for design purposes @ 3000 rpm you need a 30" 1 ¾" pipe to scavenge. So does it seem logical to assume that a 1 ½" pipe would need to be shorter?
  20. The most difficult part of the process is avoiding the "while I'm at it" syndrome.
  21. The seats are a perfect fit for my waist and dont allow much lateral movement so I would say "Just Right" Yes, the A4's are the standard model. The car is a 78. I am 5'6" tall, when I got the seats I weighed in at 170 lbs and I could get into them ok, now I'm at 155 and they fit just right at the waist.
  22. Looks like Ellijay. Thats north of Atlanta up in the mountians. Gods country. It's really beautiful up there. Ellijay is about an hour from where I live.
  23. I bought the A4's and they fit my seat (32" waist), but my shoulders are too wide for the seats (approx. 19"). On top of that I had to bend the shoulder support in some to clear the door. I guess you could offset the seat a bit to avoid that. I believe the height would be fine without the floor supports. Here’s the drivers side after bending for clearance. http://www.circuitflex.com/DriversDoor.jpg Here’s a look in the passenger window. http://www.circuitflex.com/PassengerSideView.jpg As I have stated in another thread, I am refininshing the stock seats. I don’t really want to cut the mounts out right now and I don’t like the way the seats fit my shoulders. My floor pans are rust free so I wont be replacing them.
