  1. The Datsun oil pressure sender cannot be placed in this location on a LS1 or the header will interfear with it.
  2. This area had to be clearanced on the block for the JTR drivers side header to fit.
  3. 1st Gear and the UMI short stick
  4. Exhaust port from a Stage 2 CNC head.

Rip it out and give it to the local Z club.

    LS1 just put in.

A pic of the LS1 moments after it was finally in place.
  7. This is a view of the drivers side frame rail with the nutsers installed for the transmission mount for the LS1/T56.

    Seat Clearance

I had to bend the frame on the A4's to fit without hitting the doors. I peeled the cover back and put it into a vice and pushed until it bent a bit.

Coilovers for my 280. 175 front and 225 rear.
  11. I drilled and tapped an AN4 hose connection onto the stock LS6 Slave Cylinder
  12. Still looks really cluttered.

    AllFixed

JTR headers interfered on the block and it had to be clearanced
  16. Pull the valve covers and inspect for a broken spring or loose rocker. Could be a bent pushrod too. Pull the pushrods and roll them on a mirror to check for flatness.
  17. I'm using the stock oil pressure, voltage, and temp gauges by fitting the Datsun senders on the LS block. It's really easy. Speedo and tach are Pro Comp's.
  18. Sounds like it got over torqued. Bolt stretch is what keeps it tight. Once that is gone there is no force left to hold it and the threads get buggered up. Personally I always use new bolts on engine parts. Some of that stuff is torque to yield and can only be used once. Drill and coil time. Put some aluminum anti seize on the bolts and torque to the proper number.
  19. That was your wife talking to you in your sleep. Something like "Hey baby, let's take a picture of your Torque Tube." But you just kept on sleeping.
  20. Ok, I get it now. More positive offset moves the wheel closer in so it is actually at the original position.
  21. I dont get it. The hubs moved out 18 then you add wheels that tack on another 18. Sounds like 36 over to me. What do I not see here?
  22. LS1's dont have reverse cooling, at least mine doesn't.
  23. Also know as "smush" or "squish" or "sssspppttt". Usually some type of body fluid (or solid) is excreted.
  24. Put it up on 2 X 4's like said then put on the emergency brake then jack up the front and put jack stands under it. Then go to the back and jack it up and put jack stands under it. If you dont put the stands on it could roll off the jack and smish you.
