  1. If I get it I'll let my doberman play with it for a while, then take a picture of whats left. Or better yet I'll take a picture of the poop in the yard with little bean pieces and funny eyes that follow you everywhere stuck in it.
  2. Man, what a beautifull site! I wish the rain in Atlanta would stop for a couple of weeks so I could work on mine. It has rained every day for the last 3 or 4 weeks. Hey, how about a better pic of the hood! Dale
  3. Wow, Nice! Just wondering: What transmission are you running? What is you tire size? Is the LSD a clutch? Did you supply the gears to Ross? (I have a 3.70 clutch LSD sitting on my back porch and would love to get some 4:11's in it before it goes in the car.) Congrats and hope to see you in the 11's soon, Dale
  4. Ha HA! Bean counter takes on a whole new meaning!
  5. What mental hospital do you work at?
  6. In this order. Carpet finished. Seat in. Brakes fixed. LS1 Conversion done. R200LSD put in. Frame work done. Body Work done. Paint finished. Me riding around waving at all the slow pokes.
  7. Just remember to do alot of research first, then look for a rust free, western state Z. I know that the 78 280Z with a 5 speed (not a ZX) came with a r200 rearend. The 280's have a bit of a stronger chassis than the 240's. I'm using an LS1 conversion from Johns Cars. I am trying to avoid strengthing the frame rails by using a triangulated front strut bar, and a roll bar in the rear. Even though I have a R200 I have decided to put in a R200LSD that I got on ebay a while back. This is a great site. Search and read then come back with questions. That's how I have figured out what I need to do. Dale
  8. The brakes move in relation to the chasis. SS flex is the only way to go. Hardline would last about 5 minutes. Maybe I misunderstood you. To replace the brake likes you must use steel and double flair all connections. Replace the old rubber flex lines with SS flex. Fuel line can be alum. Dale
  9. Hell, I'll drive an old milk truck with a 30 hp engine in it and enjoy it. I like driving anything. I'm not afraid of what people think of me. Dale
  10. Lets see, gas weights about 6 pounds per gallon so thats about 80 lbs of gas. So you weight about 220 lbs. I hope your shoe size is larger than 10.
  11. Boy I know that it feels good to finaly find the problems. Thanks for sharing that data. Thats a couple I can put under my hat. I have a S&P harness here at the house that's for sale, but will use one from Speartech on my car. I was checking the wiring on the S&P harness and it just didn't make sense to me so I dont trust it. I also have one done by another guy that I dont want to use that is for sale also. It is wired correctly, but looks like crap. Dale
  12. You make the base circle smaller, but leave the lobe high point alone. Dale
  13. It's much easier to save the chair by sawing the kids head off. Dale
  14. Page down close to the bottom and choose "Subtle Z". These are the flairs I will go with down the road. I think it comes close. http://www.reactionresearch.com/automotivedetails.htm Dale
  15. I have a 96 Voyager with a 3.6l in it. With all the seats out and no passanger it will suprise most ricers and leave them 1 or 2 car lengths behind me. Much quicker than my 3.2L 2001 Toyota Tachoma, and it's supose to have like 190 HP. I guess a van was designed to carry a big load, so it's gotta have some power. Dale
  16. Very nice Tim. I like that idea of using the engine stand. I was thinking about making a stand, but now I'm thinking about doing it your way. Hey, aren't the LT1's a reverse flow engine? If so think about keeping the coolant intake higher than the engine to avoid air entrapment. Dale
  17. Page down to Ignition Switch. http://www.midwestz.com/Z_Electrical_General.htm Ask for Chloe Dale
  18. Roy and silver in their next life cycle. Reincarnation to a higher life form just doesn't make sense. I think you start human and go the other way. How else do you end up with so many ants?
  19. You need a service manual for the wiring. I have one, but the wiring is very complicated. Go to http://www.courtesyparts.com/secondtier_s30.html and order one. It's diagrams are scanned in, but very legible. Dale
  20. That was some fancy driving. Bet the cops were really pissed.
  21. The dash lights work differently than you would think. They are fed from the battery on the plus side and the reostat is on the ground side. You might be shorting directly at the lamp connection. Dale
  22. I believe that the better products contain Phosphoric acid and a Zinc or a Zinc oxide that actually plates to the surface preventing futher rust. I dont think that the "Jelly" has the zinc in it. Dale
  23. I've been crushed! But that's OK, I am ugly naked!
