  1. If you really want to force the idea, only option would be running extreme negative camber. Of course this isn't a good option unless it's a VIP car with bags.
  2. ^^^^+3. We encounter the same issues with the C-series trannies for MR2's. Generally, performance clutches need a longer clutch slave cylinder pushrod to fully disengage the clutch. If this is really the case for you, a machine shop can usually custom make you a longer rod. www.speed-source.net makes it for Toyotas. If you can find a shop to make you one, maybe you can ask these guys.
  3. I forgot they can be rebarreled. I would go with Rigez's idea. This would make it an awesome set of rims. If you do get these and have them rebarreled, please post pics.
  4. If you want small sidewalls like that, slicks are the only type of tires you can find however; 265 50 15's, you have some choices: Hankook Ventus H101 99S and Cooper Cobra G/T 99S. http://www.onlinetires.com/user/vehicle/tires/allbrands.html 275 50 15's are all Drag Radials. Hope this helps.
  5. If they had Falken Azenis at least, I would get them. But seriously, they wouldn't look too great on a Z since they're so skinny. The best you can do with them is get some wide wheel spacers to at least get them flush with the fenders.
  6. I bought my set for $300 with near bald tires. They're in the same condition as my old set.
  7. I wouldn't knock on any of those engine builders or designers. They all have talent that I don't have but I see what you're trying to get across.
  8. I just wanted the original look so I decided not to paint the center. I would've though but it came out pretty well without it being painted.
  9. 73 S30 on L28 carbed 5 speed. Also has throttle spacers and headers. I will be swapping in a built L28ET in several months if the budget permits it.
  10. You can also check your wheel bearings if the shaking only occurs between 50 to 70 mph and if you can hear a somewhat airplane sound around those speeds.
  11. 350 rwhp for a 2JZ is very basic. Intake, Exhaust, Downpipe and up the boost by 5 psi or more and you're way past that. Can't wait to see the build pics.
  12. Oh I see. I guess alot of Z owners are Z hoarders lol! I don't know much about those parts but it seems like a Chip Foose kinda guy to me.
  13. I forgot to add that I live 1.1 miles from GT Factory and I know the someone who works there =)
  14. 1. Paint stripped, cleaned and wet sanded with 1000 grit sandpaper. 2. Carefully masked and sprayed several layers of primer. 3. Sprayed paint using Rustoleum Gold. 4. Finished product. 5. Mounted on the car. Next step: refinishing the lip with good old elbow grease and metal polish.
  15. Pictures are sequential. 1. I got them with Baby Blue painted spokes and slicks. 2. Took the slicks off and fitted my 205 60 15's. Nice stretch. 3. Pic of one of the rim with paint stripper. 4. Paint stripper doing it's job and showing the original color. Gold!!!
  16. Too bad I only have 4 thumbs in total. You need 10 thumbs up!
  17. Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just sell the brakes later on then.
