  4. thats not true!!! i took a roadtrip from ATL to orlando, and we had one guy in the back as well as luggage...we took two cars, and 7 people... its not that bad to be honest...the seats are DEEP so its actually kinda confortable...i let my friends drive my car just so i can sit in the back sometimes.... plus the rear windows open in a neat way too...

  7. rear main cap use permatex ultra grey...do it where the haynes manual shows....make sure to get the correct rubber side seals from the dealer! any assembly lube will be fine...just crank it over with no ign to get oil pressure after its put togehter!
  8. the oiler faces the thrust side....i think its the passengers...im not 100% sure...
  9. i found little tid-bits like that too in the exact same place when i first got my car... one was a small bolt with some kind of hard coating on it.... it was the baffle plate screw on the valve cover
  10. hardly!!! ive got a NA 2.8L 2+2 that runs in the low 13's!!!! i dont believe in turbo... all it takes is fuel system, EFI intake, and some porting....
  11. its also called the "injector fan" just chuck it...you dont need it...
  12. custom i/e gasket for the oval shapped intake ports??? how does that seal against a EFI runner.... and isnt that kinda upsetting to the air, going from a small runner and then all of the sudden going to the port which is a lot bigger? ive always seen these pictures, ive just never understood how you fit a circle peg in an oval hole.
  13. arent there two magnets, that you put opposite of each other on the dampner??? if so, that wouldnt throw off balance...unless they weigh differently.... :-

  17. i think it would reverse the flow....from the pictures.... but i could be 100% wrong... its like turning your celing fan on in reverse..... huh.
  18. theres not much to "gut" out of the intake.... better off spending less time and a little bit more money getting a cutsom fabb'ed one...you'll see a pretty big gain there... and for a turbo car, gutting the intake isnt that crucial...spend time somewhere else like downpipe or headwork....
  19. still....the angle of the chain at that joint looks insane....wrong wrong move an its not 12 valves you are kissing goodbye, its 24...
  20. the angle of that chain looks like it will snap off in high revs...or break that small gear off...
