  1. Thank you, pics would be helpful. The tank I am looking to get is from a '02 F-Body. Thanks again.
  2. I know the head cam designer at Lunati personally, so after we discussed my goals and intentions we decided this cam will give me the happy-medium I am looking for. I am running the stock GTO converter for the moment, in the future I might step up the stall alittle to the 2200-2800 range, but I am at least a year away from that. I still need to pay off what I owe into this car phase first before jumping into more debt.
  3. Cool, I'll be running a very similar engine setup. Rebuilt 2005 LQ4, Lunati Voodoo 60511 cam .567/.567", 222/228 dur@0.050", 113 LSA. mated to a 2004 GTO 4L60e tranny. My exhaust will be ceramic coated Sanderson/JTR headers, Dynomax UltraFlo mufflers, and stainless mandrel bent 2.5" dual exhaust all the way out. For the time being, just to get my car going, I'll be running a 2004 5.3 w/stock LS1 cam. I am guessing since you have a stock style hood you are running a LS1/LS6 car intake? Any track times for you yet, with or without the mods?
  4. Indeed. I would buy a few pairs myself if I wasn't dumping every cent I've got into my latest Z project.
  5. I agree 100%. California's position is if you don't have insurance and you get in an accident while driving, its your fault because it wouldn't of happened at all if you were obeying the law and weren't driving in the first place. It sounds to me like the other driver doesn't have a valid license and I doubt the car was his either. He is just trying to cover his butt with the 'someone else was driving' story.
  6. Last I heard, in California if you are in an accident and you don't have insurance, you are automatically at fault, regardless of actual blame. You might want to double check the laws though.
  7. You da man Gary. Thank you very much. Looks like I'll be getting my driveshaft shortened since mine is 23.5" center to center.
  8. Prob not, so I think I might take the challenge and give them a try, except I think I am going to go with 4 total lights so it will look similar to a '67-'69 Firebird. Unique anyway.....
  9. Is that something you normally read/research about, transsexual operations? Guess that doesn't surprise me too much given the area you live in is known for its "preferences" .
  10. I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. The caddy lights curve quite a bit from top to bottom, much more so than the back panel of a S30 which is almost nothing. So having a curved tail light in a panel that does not curve....well you can figure out the rest.
  11. .....or three functioning orifices that never slack?
  12. Hmm, 240z rear bumpers might look good on my 280z....
  13. No offense dude, but why would you look? It says in the title what tranny I am running.
  14. I know the doors won't interchange, but what about the window regulators? Thanks!!
  15. I ask because I need to replace both my driver and passenger side window regulators on my 2 seater 1975 280z. A local wreaking yard has a car with a good set, but its a 2+2. I know the doors are different, but are the regulators different too? Thanks guys!!
  16. Digging up an old thread, but several times I've considered doing some type of alternate tail light for a Z. I too considered the Caddy tail lights, but worry they curve too much to look 'correct'.
  17. Hard to believe? Been living in a cave, have we? I have searched, this isn't my first rodeo smart guy.
  18. So I guess I am the only one on HybridZ that has a JCI S30 LSx swap kit huh?
  19. So no one else has a LSx S30 with a 4L60e tranny huh? 20 people have looked at the thread, but not one of you has an answer? I find that hard to believe.
  20. I guess I just assumed since this in the Gen III/IV forum it would be someone replying with a Gen III/IV, not a LT1/LT4. Its cool though, thanks anyway.
