  1. The MOP has to be modified, unless you buy one from somewhere like Atkins Rotary. I'm premixing cuz my engine mount doesn't leave enough space for the MOP.
  2. Are you talking about the MOP or the RCE? I don't know if stand alones control the MOP, most people just premix. If you're THAT forgetful, get a white mailing address label and a permant marker and stick it to the inside of your gas door. The write, "DON'T FORGET TO PREMIX"
  3. I don't think we have the 12ATs here, but that's good to know. So this front cover has old style mounting (4 holes for crossmember) AND fits on 13BT blocks?
  4. If you use an S4 oil metering pump (oil) which is mechanical you should be ok. The S5 is controlled by the ecu. But if you use a GSLSE front cover, you need the MOP specific to it, even tho it's 13B. So no using an S4 MOP. Those are my findings.
  5. I kept mine matched with the cam as well as the specific lobe when I did this, http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=917346
  6. Get that thing running! Good to see you're working on it again:-) I like the new mounts, BEEFY! Did you guys know there was a 350Z with a 20B turbo in Australia? I saw the vids on youtube, crazy. I think he parted it out to do a race car or something. Owen
  7. Damn, I didn't get to see your car in the parking lot. Looks good in the pix tho! I didn't get to see many HZers since I was working. I saw Bartman in the morning, and naturally Van was with us, but other than that...
  8. Z32DETT lifters are hydraulic, at least mine were. Take them out and rebuild them, instructions on TT.net
  9. United Rentals? To get a quote from their website, you need to enter an email address. Or just call them.
  10. Disconnect the speedo...J/K How aboutPenske, etc? Is Uhauls limitation on trucks only, what if you rent just the trailer? My friend says rent a truck for cheaper at Enterprise or whatever and rent the trailer from Uhaul.
  11. You DO know, this is HybridZ, you HAVE to get rid of the RB26DETT and drop in a V8! J/K, man I love the R32s. My fave out of all of them. Owen
  12. Rent a Uhaul! Hope to see you down here:-) Owen
  13. Too late! When I was at Honda, we had an employee car show and some lady came up and said, "wow, this is a hybrid?!". I kindly smiled and told her what kinda hybrid, even tho the hood was already up.
  14. Why do you say not functional? i had a set on before and liked 'em, so just wondering. Also, is that a junkyard in the background?
  15. I'd get a one piece too. This was covered last year or so, but when I saw that site, I was like, "those are mailbox letters from home depot!" I can't believe people would pay for just letters... If you guys want some temporary badges, get those plastic letters kids play with that have the magnets embedded into the back of them and spray them silver The shapes they have are pretty cool, how about a Z silohouette with "hybrid"in it somewhere?
  16. Thanks Jon, I wasn't able to see the pix at the top of the page at work where I was reading this, but now that I'm at home, I see what's going on. Owen
  17. Jon, I'd like to see pictures of this difference in ID and the slotting you mentioned. Owen
  18. inner wings...??? So what do you guys all use to cut metal at home? I don't have a band saw and a reciprocating saw or sawzall takes too much time, so I just use a cut off wheel on a handheld grinder and try to get things as straight as possible. I do have a chop saw for tubing tho.
  19. I check out some Harbor Freight units on display and saw that there were a couple of holes...one was just a hole, another had a sort of baffle over it on the inside of the cabinet. And I was reading on line on how to build your own and some guy had an intake and exhaust port. I'm gonna try and build my own, but was wondering what the purpose of the intake was?
  20. Damn, reminds me of the time the 4" cutting disc cracked and came back at me. Had to get 12 stitches due to the big gash in my arm. So how does the blasting cabinet work, ok? I've always been confused on where do you hook up the shop vac to it? And why are there intake holes as well? Seems like the crap would go flying everywhere??? Owen
  21. Holy....that looks sweet Van! Can't wait to see it sitting on the ground! Owen
  22. Sorry to hijack the thread, but out of necessity, I had to make a gauge panel for my CRX. So..why not make a fancy-shmancy one? before paint after paint installed I gave the vac bag a try, kinda. I was in a hurry. I wet out some cloth, draped it over a foam plug, threw it in a trash bag!, glued it shut, and sucked the air out from the other end with a shop vac:-) Yes, that's a tiny monitor, no, it's not hooked up yet. It's a secret. Owen
