  1. Thanks dude! That woulda been embrassing... Matt, Thanks for your understanding on this. I won't have a car there so I can at least be a walking billboard for HZ! Owen
  2. Hey dude, Thanks so much for getting the patches made! I put down for 2 but may want 3 . As someone else mentioned, I'd like to show this off at the MSA show on 4/23 so I'd like to be put on the advanced list. If that's not possible, it's cool though. Let me know how much. Owen
  3. Hey Bartman, I'd like to know what kit you used, what you had to chop etc. See ya at MSA later this month? Owen
  4. Speak of the devil, lookie what I found. http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=517091 I didn't know your name was hakeem???
  5. Thanks, I'll shoot him an email or something. So how's that RX8 doing, I only saw it when it was up in the air on your lift. Owen
  6. Must be similar to this http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ATP-FUL-013&Category_Code=FUL
  7. On the twinturbo.net site everyone swears they're bad, but I've never seen an actual reason as to WHY.
  8. This is a manifold for a rotary engine, but I'm interested in who the hoses are connected to the injectors. It looks like a there's a center plate with a hole in it that clamps the hoses down onto the injectors . I'm talking about the center mounting bolt, as that tightens down, what looks to be AN fittings are pushed onto the injectors. I'm trying to come up with a way to mount American top-feed injectors onto my Z32 engine. Those damn side feeds are expensive! OWEN
  9. Same question, is this gonna help me stock smoking?? Just kidding, I'm in for at least two! Owen
  10. I'm in Huntington Beach, who's going to MSA?
  11. 87 stanza is what i used on mine, maxima of same year might be usable too. I made use of everything except the cruise control.
  12. Which Palm and OS version are the best? $25 is awesome but I'd also like to have some mapping/GPS software on it too if it's gonna be in the car. Which will probably require a newer PDA unit. Thanks, Owen
  13. Cool, I got my kit a while ago but problems with my Z32 have kept me away from the 240Z project. Hmm, maybe I'll put the MS on the Z32, I still need to be able to smog it though... From what I learned on the MS site, there's really no reason to change maps on the fly, unless you're going from one fuel to another, etc. something really drastic. I already have a cheap laptop but will probably get a pda just for this. Owen
  14. I PMed jbc3 about this a while ago and was told that he couldn't find adequate sized couplings to use. But recently, on some jeep site, I saw that people were cutting the couplings in half and putting them in between the pipe/tube and the dies. I don't think anyone has tried exhaust tubing though.I also saw that some were using the bender horizontally (laid flat). I'd like to bend up to 3" tubing, can that be done with the cheaper HF bender? Or will I have to get the $200 one? Owen
  15. It'll have to be very close in price to the JDM TT! As you know I've been set back another $800. I think I'll just wait to do the swap later, I may want to get the JDM in and sell the car, who knows? Owen
  16. I know you're not affecting it, but I'd rather not pull the dash at all!
  17. damn, 3 inches is a lot. i dont wanna have to rip out my dash , etc. looks like i'll just have to stick with the jdm plan.
  18. Where can I get the plans for the LS1+Z32 swap? I've been thru every post on this subject and have seen more arguments on the selling of photocopied plans, etc. rather than useful info or even pictures of mounts, etc. Everything is snowballing around me and I am Officially Fu*ked right now. Owen
  19. No, the TT is my daily driver, but the engine has 220K miles on it and is really starting to show its age. A JDM swap would be simple as long as I get a good one, but you don't really get to chose what the importer gives you. Doing a rebuild is too expensive right now. Hmm, mods would be injectors, ecu, turbos, intercoolers, clutch/PP in the least, (already have a hp fuel pump). In Z32 terms, that's what, $4000? On top of the $2000 for the engine, 50K miles? Then smog. I think the V8 still wins the bang for the buck contest, no? How much does the FD weigh?
  20. I thought about that, but I would have no torque. And I probably would have a hard time with smogging it.
  21. Yeah, I even thought about some 3.8L V6s in the parking log at work, but I guessed they were front wheel drive. If I'm desperate enough I suppose I could stand having a Ford motor:-) BUT, I've seen many LS1+auto trans on ebay. I hate auto trans but I wonder if I could find a controller and make it into a paddle shift???
  22. Thanks I hear the F-body was easier than the Vette. Which years should I be looking for?
  23. Dale, That's awesome... Hey guys, what year LS-X should I be looking for, are they all aluminum blocks? Or just the ones in Vettes and Camaros? I saw on ebay some truck had an LS1 too? Owen
  24. ...which might be sooner than I thought...the F-ing engine won't start! Checked all fuses, relays, vacuum, sensors, etc....I don't have time for this, time to get a JDM I guess.
  25. I don't know where either of those schools are! I grew up in Torrance and moved to Huntington Beach 1st year of high school. First time I even heard of Bell Gardens was last year!
