  1. Used to be my sig pic until the max file size rule came into effect, maybe I'll try a Flash version one day.
  2. Speaking of being blinded by headlites, I think I'll go with a mirror-tint on the back...damn SUVs and their HIDs! Owen
  3. On this, "(d) Notwithstanding subdivision (a), clear, colorless, and transparent material may be installed, affixed, or applied to the front side windows, located to the immediate left and right of the front seat if the following conditions are met:" The following conditions, does that mean 1 to 5, all inclusive? Or "any of the following"? I'm gonna tint mine no matter what, just want to have the ammunition to argue with if I'm stopped. I like this too, "The devices authorized by this paragraph shall not be used during darkness." Define "darkness" Owen
  4. Mike, I have mine too and they are as you said, I hope the knurl diameter is correct or bigger than the holes tho. Auxilary, Those are the Quest ones mentioned above. But I just can't help wondering if they're gonna stand up to hard launches and whatever other kinda reckless driving I'm gonna do! Owen
  5. The t-shirt is used for the initial shape and then covered with glass mat or cloth for strength. Check out termpro.com, http://audioforum.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=32 theres a bunch of info here. I'm in the process of making new door panels and will smooth out the dash using a bondo and resin mixture which can be painted on (so I heard). Owen
  6. How many turns is it lock to lock? And would you happen to know if the 1998 models use the same rack? Thanks, Owen
  7. The spokes arent large but there's 5 of 'em and the wheel as 17s. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=656 check out that past thread on post pix of your wheels Owen
  8. I'm using the GM/Honda 12x1.50 pitch available from ARP at Summit. I want to make sure I use quality, high strength pieces. Plus wheel locks are available for this pitch all over. Owen
  9. thet're $229 each for the simulated leather, $160 each for the vinyl or cloth. sale ends 11/8! very comfortable so far, all i've done is install them and sit in them. Owen
  10. My HobbyAir is for sale, don't need it anymore... PM me if you're interested. Owen
  11. Mine were not reclinable and I made custom brackets with no sliders. I now have the 3A racing seats from PepBoys, the simulated leather ones are 21 to 22 inches wide at the shoulders and they barely hit my door panels. It has a reclining knob on both sides as well as sliders. Oh, as mentioned in my weatherstripping post, I have fake leather door panels which are thicker than the regular plastic ones. HTH, Owen
  12. Oh my gosh!!!! that thing is huge! the picture is linked to thai300zx.com, interesting.... Too much of the hood bulge is lost for my liking. And with no lips on the leading edges of the ducts, there's not gonna be much air being sucked out as with them. Still, very sweet! Owen
  13. If they are anything close to the Corbeau Forza or Clubman, I used to have those, non-stock seat brackets of course. The dims and weights are on Corbeau's site. Owen
  14. I'm trying that right now (actually it's on hold till I get other issues worked out) but would appreciate opinions! http://www.v8zcar.com/sanmaruz/aero%20hood%201.html Owen
  15. I have a video on this car, can't remember what it was called but I just found it by accident at a local vid store. Owen
  16. Your soul is worth £4941. For your peace of mind, 93% of people have a purer soul than you. Actually, it's worth more than I thought! And I really need the money, anyone wanna buy it? Shipping's free! Owen
  17. Impul R5s, same as Work Equips but with different caps and bolts around the face. Owen
  18. It's a scan of a comic from Japan (I scanned it). I don't think it's an actual representation of any particular kit. Owen

    T56 Tranny options

To aid your search on the net, try McLeod and Centerforce for clutches. Pay attention to the one vs two piece rear main seals as well as the tooth count on the flywheel I think. My T-56 is using the standard bellhousing so check before you buy anything you might not need. Mike Kelly also had an article on the installation which was great back when there was no info. Check it out for clutch slave and master cylinder line issues. Owen
  20. I have this setup, tho I thought the 5-lugs were '85 and up rotors? Anyway, the spacers is just an aluminum spacer with holes in it...check out Mike SCCA's site, fonebooth.com or something. Owen
  21. Here's one place for real fuel safe hose. http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/fsafe8b.htm So what are people doing to stop fuel from staying in the hose 24-7? I'm worried about fuel creeping up towards the filler opening on hard turns or whatever, and I simply want it to stay in the tank not the hose. How about dry break? http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/fsafe8.htm Owen
  22. I think even a brand new member coming in and asking about a non Hybrid is ok, as long as he isn't a jerk, etc. Maybe the newbie just wants to know how our swaps are done so he can get ideas for his. My EFI system on my SBC is a FAST (formerly Speedpro) but I got my best information from the turbobuick.com site. In the aftermarket EFI section, the majority are Buicks but there are also Hondas and Chevys. As long as the people have a genuine need and are respectful, I don't mind helping them. Owen
  23. Yup, it's under warranty and I'm sending it back tomorrow. Owen

    San Diego

Well, you'll be there over the weekend and there are some San Diedo guys down there. I'm about an hour and a half from SD. Owen
  25. Good suggestions from everyone! "Try removing starter from car entirely and connect jumper cable to the heavy guage wire that runs from GM solenoid into starter case. it shoud spin like " Did this and it doesn't spin, just moves out. The ground cable from the starter to the block is something I'll have to do. And yes, Pete I read about the emissivity on the gun I have. Very interesting to say the least. Owen
