  6. I disagree, That kid is great, His dad is great, The sandrail is great, The wheelie is great. The kid appeared to have the disipline to repect the ride. Very Cool! I am sure the course, lip and run were throughly planned out, as it should be using common sence. Like life, no risk no gains. Rock on kid!
  7. Jim Walker, American Inventor. Would fly 3 planes once. One in each hand and the third from a special helmet. Pretty amazing guy... http://www.americanjuniorclassics.com/Chuck_Hein/chuck_hein_1.html
  8. Some skill ? LOL....If you have have not flown u control, you really can't compare the two together on an equal basis.
  9. Oh totally Yes! Yea but she had a sweet snapper if you catch my drift so why not ride it for a while. I knew right then and there, she was not the one lol. She is gone now. And thank God for that! Glad you found a woman who underestands, they are few and far between..I'm still looking.
  10. That's a alot of cars to just maintain let alone complete. Bigtime. I know you hate to do it but sell a few and concentrate on one or two. Ok even then if you did sell a few off you could still spend all your free time on just one car. I admit you are on crack My advise, if you want it, straight up no sugar coated bs. You are only 23. You have plenty of time to get married. If she can't handle it now.. just imagine married life when she owns you. She should be glad you are not out with your friends, at the bar, hitting on chicks and cheating on her worried. Instead your at home doing what you love, busting your but working 60 hrs a week, making money, learning and developing your mind. Not good enough huh?!.. ..You might have to let her go. Is she really the one? Or just a hottie?, to hard to let go....I have been where you are. I'm 39 much older, my most recent said "for now it's good you have your cars but when we get married we are selling them." 6 months later I was single of my choice. She was also lawyer doing family law so that was a factor too lol. I don't care if I ever get married either, riddles... There are plenty of fish in the sea. You have your Z car hobbie, You are her hobbie.... A recipie for disaster... I don't know you personally, so how can I give you advise.. But will tell you this. Unless you have to means to throw away cars for your enjoyment...and most of us don't (i don't either by the way. ) She sounds like is going to make you choose, which is lame in my opinion.....So prepare yourself for that. Good luck. For referernce I will be single forever
  11. This is a great hobbie! Interested in control line flying check out Brodak. http://www.brodak.com/shop.php?CategoryID=136
  12. Very Cool Z Bill!!! Sounds perfect for the neighborhood. she said and sell it...keep it! lol
  13. If it had more structure front to rear it would stand a better chance.
  14. ...And slamming down/finishing a... full ice cold bottle of beer! lol
  15. Let's not jack thread cause we are bored... Instead let us marvel all the efforts of those supporting our 40 year old cars, reguardless of what is better or not. And never tell another man what he needs and doesn't need lol. I'm using MMS pieces. Street car mostly. No expert. I am only human lol.. Pros: No silly rod ends on the spindle pins. OEM style end links are very high quality. More compliant than rods ends also lasting longer on the street, aka many more miles, in harsher uncontrolled enviroments. Adjustment is very infinate and very easy to set. More than one place to mount the sway bar end links. Fabricated for MMS by a suspension manufacturer to ISO quality standards. Oh and...approved by John Coffey (accredited Z race chassis expert/racer and fabricator) in the Summer 2005 issue of Sport Z Magazine. What more do you need to know? I dont see this guy putting his name endorsing very many products out there. The Z god has given them the blessing lol. Cons: Heavier than oem. (But a major part of that weight is in the soild inner pivot so the effect on unsprung weight is not a direct comparison.) If I were to do it again I'd still go MMS.
  16. Logically (at least to me ) the 5+ point without the sub belt is worse than stock three point because as you are pushed into the shoulder harness it's only means to resist you is to pull up on the latch which happens to be in the center of your lap thus pulling up the lap belt allowing you to slip under. Like that run-on.... I can notice this because I only use four of the five when I autocross and when I try to cinch down the shoulder straps it forces the lap to ride up. With the factory three point if anything as you are pushed into the shoulder strap it would tighten the lap belt because that is where the reaction force goes since it's all one continuous belt. Could be all wet but it makes since to me. Cameron Thanks Guys. I'm sticking with oem..... Hard to beat on the street. Aziza Z, If your not REALLY racing like everyday. If I remember correctly you drive your car ALOT right?...Why not weld/fab a 3D structure of some type between the shock towers setting up the proper belt angles. Screw the harness dude. I know they look cool. I have been very tempted myself. But that's just a belts in your way, everytime, buckles getting slammed in the door toasting your killer red paint job. I feel they are less safe. For sure a complete hastle, to be just as safe. I agree with Cameron, with no sub belt tightening the shoulders would raise the lap belt...... hows that song go.. "and now I have said too much"
  17. I was comparing ideas of a 4 point harness to the OEM 3 point type. Not a 5.
  18. Now that's well said! John, Are OEM style belts just as prone to the 4 point submarine effect? That's what I am using still. Thank you for reposting.
