  1. Hi, I have been admiring your vehicle. The youtube video ROCKS. It looks like you have put thought into it and gone through everything. Very clean, nice job!

  2. Never had one for years. Then I tried a rear facing bar. It made a very noticable difference keeping the tracking straight at freeway speeds. I should add I am not running cv's.
  3. Wow! Scary indeed! Glad you are ok.
  4. Depends...You could give them the brake lights without actually engaging the brakes. If they panic, spin out and die they deserve it.

  6. They do come close to bottoming out, but it's not an issue. If your still concerned about it updating to adjustable arms may slightly increase clearance. We have sucessfully used Ross's arms increasing the track 1/4 per side, it's not much, but it's some. http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=68

  8. It's a joke! Re: Welded Diff, What the hell!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hahahaha............yeah, it is a joke. Some of you guessed it. The joke continues over at the 460 forums too, where there is a link to here. They also think I'm a knucklehead LOL!! I originally found it on another forum, and decided to change it slightly and do one here. Here's where I found it. Welded Dif, What the hell!!! - Pirate4x4.Com Bulletin Board ______________________________________ 2003 Falcon BA XR8 Ute. 1972 Falcon XA GT. 1970 Galaxie 500 Sportsroof.
  9. LIME GREEN??? yUK! It will just end up looking like green M&M..... Your nice body work done in black will be fuckin' AWESOME!!! Serious class.
  10. Phil, Stay with Black. Smoooooth.
  11. Figured as much. Probably wasting my time asking.
  12. Time to sell it. What do you think it's worth? Here is a vid of it's current condition. Good car. Solid and fun driver. Any real world suggestions would be great thanks.
  13. They are ours. You can get them through MSA or direct from us. http://www.altecproducts.com/products_zzxlenses.htm
  14. We installed ours on the passenger inside wheel well. Very easy to run short lines through the floor into the OEM T-fitting directly below. Still can adjust from the drivers seat but not while driving of course. Agree with Jon, it's pretty much set it and forget it on the street. Also this location keeps passengers hands off the valve.
  15. Keep your sway bar. You may have to raise or lower your diff to gain the needed clearance and yet still maintain paralell drive shaft angle. Example: If you have to shim raise the pinion up to get clearance you may have lower the transmission tailstock to maintain a paralell running DS. Try to keep the DS running angle between 1 and 2 degrees ideal. Every car is different. But with some tweaking you should be able to make it happen and have a smoother running driveline for the efforts.
  16. Ours is trapped from the top and bottom. Much better than fully relying on the ES mount.
  17. A couple of options. Check your front pinion mount for movement. Adjust your DS running angle to achieve more clearance. A vertical adjustment of your rear end may be all you need to gain the slight needed clearnace. If your still running oem half shafts just switch to a 240 style rear mounted bar. It's an Easy swap.

  19. I am sure the Mythbusters are great nice guys in person...whatever.. they act like total dorks on television. Something about both of them just bothers me... Oh I know the show in general takes for granted the audience is dumb. Using a classic Z with a fork lift, just another idiot example. Gee I guess there are not enough 86 ford escorts around. Lame. I was right all along.
  20. Very Cool Cameron! Impressive! You drove your car to the event, raced well, ran fast and drove it back home all in piece. To me that is a much greater accomplishment than some race car trailer queen. Great to hear the brakes lasted but I see Daves kit in your future. Rock on!
