    Seat Experiance

    lol... I like that perspective!
  3. Oh my God! That is truly amazing! I raced offroad for 10 years, but this Way beyond any of that. The doodsakker is The Real Deal! Thanks Forrest for sharing.
  4. Ok, I'll chime in. The basics go along way when combinded together... I think you know them already. A couple of fans on each of the fluid rads would be my choice. A full sealed shroud to your engine rad. Also flat piece of aluminum or better yet a rigid less heat conductive material between the oil cooler and intercooler attached to your spoiler might help in reducing intake temps. If you can cowl vent your hood to let rising heat esacpe will help much more than trying to force that air under the car.
  5. When searching on Hybridz we travel back in time. This action has a direct effect altering future events. From that point in time the choice is yours where you want to travel next.... Good luck.
  6. 26's? Where? All I see is cottage cheese.

    Heater / Blower

I live in northern state and bypassed the heater. All you babys in southern states dont even know what real cold is! LOL Just kidding hehe. No a/c either. Just a blower piped to the oem defroster ducts. I swear the V8 headers and duals does supply some cabin warmth as the interior floors are still bare metal. Should add I don't drive the car in rain but have been caught a few times and use rainx on occasion. Keeping a few clean rags in the glove box goes along way. May run the heater core again but for the last 4 years it has not been a major issue. My car is usually on jacks anyways lol. All depends what your use is....
  8. The more we keep talking about this subject, the more potential sellers doing market research read these posts, the more the value goes up. Regions have effect on price too. I am willing to bet they worth slightly less in California and the dryer southern states. Here in Minnesota there are very few, if any ever sale.

  10. I thought running fuel lines in the trans tunnel was a no-no in general racing inspections in case of a driveshaft/drivetrain failure? Dont' flame me, I am not an expert by any means. Mine is still in the same oem location and thought moving it for this reason just to be safer on the street. The tunnel routing keeps the line safe from road debris I suppose. Oh by the way, your really doing a great job on your Z. Exelent fabrication.
  11. Yes I agree. I hope they skyrocket in price. The sooner the better.
  12. Cool Video. Looks like much of consideration detail too. But in the 70K range I think I would go with a Z06 instead. ...Still waiting for Nissan to turbo the Z....
  13. Here a thread in MM brackets. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=104735 Thanks for the info! Sweet you got Daves rears! That's a cool ride nice color. Yea I dont have much exp with hyd parking brakes but why install one if it doesnt work. Maybe enough to hold the car while you jump out and wheel chock it. Kind of pointless. Yea chocks suck but having those brakes with sticky tires will make you forget about that. If your looking at rear arms, check these out. I have a set and though they may weigh more than the azc part the... 14. Nice brakes! That's a killer package. I have the 4 piston setup front and rear. Are those 13" rotors up front or 12.2? What rim size are you running? I love those wheels too! Parking brake? and Hydraulic conversion? I would not go there unless your son plans to be drifting lol. Nothing wrong with the bling, bling in my opinion! Good to see the both of you spending quality time together. Life is short.
  15. Hey Jason, My rear coilover springs are the typical 2.5 inside diameter. The outside diamater of this spring is 3.45. The lower coilover seat itself measures 3.50. I do not know the outside diameter of oem type springs. The oem spring seat on the strut tube itself I would imagine dictate a slightly larger diameter. So maybe like this??... OEM spring seat diameter and subtract the 3.50. Then divide that number by 2 should get you closer to the extra tire clearnace. Hope this helps.
  16. That guy in the 350Z is cool! Yea his car is not to most our tastes lol....fakey blower, stock exhaust with 422 HP? lol... But thats perfectly ok he's living the pipedream. ......We all need to dream.... Besides, you NEVER know if the guy has a NOS can in the trunk with an extra 300 HP ready and waiting to smoke dorks driving around with video cams... Never underestimate what you think is competition on the street.. Just when you thought you knew everything. All that stuff could be the bait, just to really kick your ass! Totally possible.
  17. Wayne, That is a killer ride! Holy Twin screws batman! A Very, Very cool Z you have there! I like the spilt front end too.
  18. on the lighter less serious side... "Flesh On My Tire" http://www.scumpump.com/smfsp/page2.html (caution explicit lyrical content. click on the song title to listen.)
  19. Yes, Stock 240 hood. Thats great idea Derek. I wonder if it would work out? hmmmmm.... Maybe I will mock a set on the car for fun and post a pic.
  20. Not a fender vent, but you can sure feel the heat roll out of these with the fan on.
