  1. Sometimes people asks for advice...and then not even read them. I bet 10 bucks you didn't even click on the link I gave you. The topic is beaten to death anyway, search.
  2. BTW, welcome to the forum and remember to use search function
  3. it dilutes the intake charge so the combustion temperature/pressure is lower. It is meant to reduce NOx emission. It isn't helping performance.
  4. play with this. I thought everyone know about this utility already. !!!too late!!! choose a cam or the utility won't calculate. With a P90a head(volume = P90?) + L28 crank + L24 rods + Arizona Z Car 87mm forged flat top pistons(35.37mm pin height) + 87mm bore + combustion chamber unshrouding(+1cc to chamber) +1.25mm headgasket = 8.56:1 CR with good quench.
  5. haha Guy you try teach him too much. "Don't teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig."
  6. (olderthanme's sig pic) midget Z car, funny.
  7. Most of those "dealers", especially ones on eBay, sells refurbished carbs. So it wouldn't be a surprise if they can give you some parts you want. You can save some money because the external trim parts are a lot cheaper than all sorts of jets...and you don't need any jets
  8. your website says "40 Meg Limit Exceeded! This site has exceeded its limit of 40 Megabytes of transfer per day. The account can be upgraded to a paid account to increase the transfer limit up to 15 Gigs of transfer per month in your 150m.com user tools section. "
  9. alrighty, thanks for the link and keeps us updated. You have every parts collected? If not, you might want to contact suppliers and ask them if they have defunct weber carbs like porous cast defects instead of cutting up servicable and expensive ones.
  10. You are looking for ppl to reprogram a Z31 ECU? Talk to "Bernardd" and "GrayZee" on this site, they really know their stuff. Great guys too.
  11. what about them pico injectors? I can't find them on the lumenition site??
  12. I was wondering what effect will it have if a car that doesn't have EGR is modified to recirculate its own exhaust? What will it do to the emissions? What if the exhaust pipe is a little "plugged up" so there is even more exhaust pollution in the intake charge? What will it do to the emissions? Thanks
  13. I have a bunch of rods, I bought a few sets of "240Z" rods on eBay and they all turned out to be 260Z or 280Z rods. The only true 240Z rods are the first set I bought. I needed more rods because one of the rods from the first set is flawed. here's the markings on mine(X = any number) : L24 rods : 51-0 (logo)JAPAN.NO142.X L26 rods : XX-X (logo)JAPAN.A8742-X L28 rods : 4-1(logo)A87-2 L28et rods : XX-X(logo)A87-2 Only L24 rods have "NO142", the others all have "A87" in the marks. The other way to tell one from the other is from the form of oil squirt hole. L24 rods have "outtie", all others have "innie". The L24 "outtie" is a oil hole on top of a protruding lump of metal. Non-L24 rod's "innie" is a hole inside a egg shaped depression. Use this to identify the rods when you don't have any measureing tools with you.
  14. I think it's perfectly ok to throw something at a bad driver(not that I ever did it) as long as the car is not driving at high speed. Bad drivers like described above are not going to learn to be good by themselves; they should be taught to respect other's car and space.
  15. Yeah, it's a fiat, but he said "think our Zs are hybrid?", so...Z's are just as radical as the fiat with photo evidence.
  16. have you thought about installing injectors on the underside of the intake runners? It will solve your idle problem and still hide the injectors and you won't have to "move" the throttle blades. I think no matter what you do, you will still have fuel lines traced to the intake side so that's a dead giveaway and in either cases the injectors will be hard to access to. With injectors under the intake you might have to deal with heat coming off off the exhaust.
  17. thanks for the link. There is nothing like running on 30psi and use a fuel sponsored by the GOVERNMENT!
  18. I'll help you start now! Just 40$ plus the cost of food.
  19. If it's just for the looks, you can make a steel one and then electroplate it in copper.
  20. hmm that is a good angle view for a good looking Z. What airdam is that?
  21. You can go to a metal fab shop and have them stamp out louvers on any piece of sheet metal that you want to use.
  22. Looks good. The lambo doors is going to have problem, not because it's ricey but you can't get out of car easily; the door is in the way.
