  1. Hey Luke, Nice work mate! She is looking really good! A million percent better than the pics you sent me when she was hand painted green Hey i am coming over to the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek Raceway on the 6-7th September. You wouldnt happen to be heading down there yourself would you, I would love to see the beast in the flesh (might motivate me to get back into mine) I look forward to hearing some more awesome ET's Cheers, Clint.
  2. These do look like a really high quality part, even have carbon Fiber reinforcements for the hinge mounting points etc.
  3. Good work!! Can't wait to see all the finished pic's! I am still tosing up weather i go with Gab's conversion (i already have R32 GT-R rear hubs etc) or the new improved MML extra spline stub axles/companion flanges. ???
  4. Nice! Can anyone read Japanese? I would like to know what it says about the doors, what they weigh etc and if they are finished ready to bolt on with window frames etc or semi finished and dont have the mounting points etc?? Anyone in Japan that could help me buy these and help ship to me? Come in Stony???
  5. Full race car, with full cage and decent side intrusion protection, doors are for looks only and too stop air ramming into the car
  6. I have searched and found all the threads talking about how heavy the doors are, but haven't found anything about anyone selling GRP or Carbon fiber doors. I didnt turn up much Google searching either I have two sets of doors for my car, so will leave one set stock with wind up glass, and was planning on going nuts with the 2nd set, cutting out the inner skin and crash beam and hole sawing all the way around the front where the hindes mount and also the bottom of the door as well, fitting lexan windows off course as well. - However if i can buy nice lightweight quality composite doors that might be a better way to head. Someone must make and sell them!
  7. OMG! I can't believe people use to look like that!!!
  8. Wow! you got a sticky outy one! So if you never had those 3" adapters in there, do you think you would get away with ZG flares??
  9. That engine bay pic looks awesome man! Nice one.

  12. Have you guys seen this before? http://www.canepa.com/inventory/racecar/Datsun%20240Z%20GTU/index.html Points of interest: 1 The front sway bar design (running thru the front frame rails) 2 Looks like a one piece plate that has replaced the drop arms and M bar, looks like it may have some adjustability at the rear/inner lower susp arm mount?
  13. Welcome to the gang, You will learn heaps off here very quickly! as i did, and i was a first time Z owner. Enjoy.
  14. Good on ya dude! It is a good feeling to get back into a project that has been on the back burner for a while. I know how ya feel - I have just got back into mine too
  15. Hey Jason, Use the search function mate, as well as read all the stickys at the top of the RB forum, all your Q's will be answered plus many more you havnt thought of yet I am using the CM Rod shop mounts, you will still need a rear sump oil pan (the stock RB25 one is front) Many of us here buy a new sump from Nissan from a JDM only Z31 300zx with a RB20 in it, which has rear sump, which will bolt on and work on RB25 and RB30. This sump can then be modified to increase oil capcity and baffles etc. The part numbers of the new sump and oil pickup are else where on this forum - check the RB stickys.
  16. Thats a nice looking car you have there!
  17. What!!! I thought you were an IT geek!!!
  18. That front looks like it was created in photoshop, ie not real
  19. The S31 was a JDM Fairlady Z which was powered by a efi L20
  20. I am loving your car! What are the width and offsets of those work wheels??
