  1. Thats a nice looking header and turbo combo, that puffer makes my GT35R look like a garden snail !!
  2. Mark, I cant wait to see more video footage once you get used to the new engine! So much potential. Clint
  3. I guessed it must of been played with, as you wernt really gaining on it Cheers for the pics of the pan, i hope it fix's the issue for you. Clint.
  4. That is a truely awesome piece of kit - Very inspiring indeed. Love that video at the track! Was that white car in front of you a Mazda Miata?? Interesting thread developing about the oiling system too, looks like I will need to do some serious work on my 200ZR pan for my RB30DET powered track car.
  5. Hey Yasin, Yes a small world it is, i had a mate round for dinner last night, and was showing him the pics on the rennlist etc, and saw your post on my thread, and mentioned to him that you are on Hybridz as well, hard case eh - we must both have good taste in the same vehicles Yes, the turbo 3.6 is a awesome machine, i feel very privlaged to own such a beast. And man you almost get sick of the rediculous amount of attention it gets, from young and old. Clint T
  6. Hi guys, Progress on my RB30det 240z build has been a little slow of late. But have just had some really cool pic's taken of my Porka - Pretty happy with them, so just thought i would share with my Hybridz buddys See here http://www.flickr.com/photos/93034082@N00/?saved=1
  7. Hey Rob, Hows your progress buddy? I'm right into mine now
  8. Just in the process of stripping one of my RB30's What have you guys used to cut off the sump in the past, tried a Craft knife but didnt work?? That grey sealant is strong stuff!! I remember reading something about this somewhere on here, but i've searched and cant find it?
  9. Hey Rob, I have been a little side tracked of late after buying the 911 turbo . I have just moved house, and now have a reasonable garage/workshop, so will be moving the 240z home shortly, then should start making some progress . Man i am looking forward to getting the Z going, should be scary! The Porka with only 400hp is fast enough! Later.
  10. No it wasnt, but its a nice solution. The exhaust manifold isnt mine, but the same chap makes those as well, very nice parts. If you wanna know who it is, R.I.P.S Rotorua Import Pro Shop in New Zealand. He has posted on here before - search for posts by R.I.P.S Cheers, Clint T
  11. The R33 RB25DET 5 speeds are expensive down under arnt they! Mine cost me $2k.
  12. Holy **** Rob!! I have been absent from the board for a little while and just come back on to see your HUGE amount of progress on the rear end!!! Brilliant!!!! Good work man, getting a little complicated in the end, but man it looks pretty stout!!! Look forward to hearing the reports of it all bolted up in your car. Once again, great work Rob!
  13. I am using an aftermarket billet alloy 80mm TB, see my photo gallery on this site.
  14. The R32 GTR diff is the way to go, it is a clutch type LSD compared to the rest of the GTS's and ceferos etc which are all Viscous. I am using a GTR diff in my 240z, not putting in the whole subframe (just too much work for little gain) putting in the diff alone is reasonably simple in comparison.
  15. 240hoke That is one very NICE looking car you have there! I just love the stance of it! Good work.
