Only just seen your post above! ha ha... now theres an idea! I now have the complete GTR rear hub assy (made from alloy) so might look at modifing that to graft on, After reading one of your posts about welding alloy, i am very unsure about welding to it tho? Will let you know. Sh_t it would cost a fortune to freight the GTR diff to the US!

Nope its not in yet, the panel work is more than i thought, am replacing RHF frame rail now, its beyond repair

iskone, What did you end up doing here, as i have to make the same call, rebuild standard rails or cut the front off and tube frame it. Tube frame would be the way to go for strenght and setup wise as i can put things where i want. But then again i like the idea of keeping it stock in that part.

Bringing this one back from the dead, Does anyone have any spare "Fairlady Z" and "432" emblems surplus to requirements, that they would sell me? Or, know where i can get them? I would like 3 of each. (i see the "fairlady Z" emblems are availible from Datsunrestore, but thought they seemed very pricey) I am needing to do my best to replicate a 432R as to try to be eligable for a classic racing class with my DOHC RB engine. Any help greatly apprecited. I can Paypal. Thanks Clint T

Went to the drags on the weekend, watched a (RWD only) Nissan GT-R run, it did a 10.2. Am now wondering what my 240z will do when finished? The Z must be a whole lot lighter than the GT-R. Lets get a list going of your best ET, MPH and spec of your Z. Post away! Cheers Clint T

Go the whole hog, and use a f/glass rear hatch with lexan like i have, truck loads lighter than stock hatch with glass!

I am using the Tial V band 44mm external gate and the Tial 50mm BOV, both very nice pieces of kit, Tial also do a larger gate now which might suit you application. Talk to james about these when you discuss turbos. Clint T
